Neowave is pretty much just KOF ‘02 with a slightly different roster, and ISM/Grooves. The 3 different styles are what makes this game worth revisiting once in a while. You can access Geese via holding Start while the cursor is on K’ (why isn’t it on Terry, Ryo or Takuma is beyond me). Doing the same on Jhun, Maxima, Whip & Team Orochi will reveal Kim, Ramon, Vanessa & Team Awakened Orochi while doing it with anyone else will just net you roulette (random select).

Fun fact: k49 was actually in this game but end up being unused, you can still acces it through a cheat and all his moves are completed

Neowave was fun.. This is the geese from Art Of Fighting 2.. The reason most people hadnt played it is cause the game was Japan only for PS2 and the USA copy was only on xbox(many refuses to get an Xbox so many didn't play this one.. I got the Xbox mostly for SVC Chaos)..

I have the PS2 Japanese version of this game and yes Geese is a VERY notorious final boss but THER IS a strategy to break him with no problem

Correct it took me a few tries to figure his moves out and how they operate and the hit boxes of them, then I started messing him up on console and arcade

@@GHOST5691. figure it out haaa ? on what level ? well guess what level 8 CPU change the way it plays every single matche ! it might play the same in single matche but the following one it simply change its way and so on every time you figure out a way it simply change his ! NB been playing fighting games since 25 years since i was a kid ! on pc and arcade cabins etc... so i m quite an expert !

Level 8 AI and the way the style have been changing games from AOF And FF YEARS already, you can't school me on shit I know for more than 25 years of gaming 🤣, that's the most basic thing you wanna act smart on, obviously as levels go up the ai will be hard🤣, any normal person knows that, any one that plays kof in general can literally adapt to any and every Fighting game there is. And everyone ain't a so called "expert" on first few tries

It's not a bad game if you into trying 3 different modes, the game ai in general is weak, but geese will be a pain your ass, that said, if you use Justins method that's one way to beat him, but there is more than that

This is a heavily offensive boss so you need to relay on counters. I beat it many times only using the kula projectile counter over and over. Also with Kula if you keep a 1/3 screen distance when he jumps to do his air attack you have enough time and space to do kula anti air attack. Finally also with Kula if you have 2 power bars you can trigger freeze execution when he throw a projectile at you and it will always hit.

I think the best strat is, go to the apposite side of the screen and crouch, he will throw some punches and other things. Wait there until he starts to run towards you. Run against him and do a combo. Rise and repeat. Best with combos that knocks far away.

There is a very easy way to cheese him. Jump back and he will just stand there doing his uppercut move, move in and try to damage him a bit, even with block damage without him.hitting you hopefully, then go back to jumping back. Win by time out. Likely an AI bug. This exists on the PS2 version

Was funny at the credits when both were just there doing anything until you realize you can hit him haha.Sfex3 does that aswell,talking about his super i always tough he went though your guard like you character guard doesn't work agains't his super.I added you into my stream deck,so when you're online i'll try to be there haha.Please,Shin Ichizoku Matsuri,you can only play it trough emulating arcade since it isn't in any console,so sad because that game is a masterpiece,i can say that it has combos like marvel.

I played this game like 12 years ago and I noticed the same bs but what JW was missing from his attempts at the boss was to activate the "red mode", exclusive to this game where it slowly drains your life but amplifies your combo damage. Some sort of "commit to the attack" mentality. Sadly it gets pretty annoying since you gotta activate and deactivate constantly each round, but yeah, mastering that would make the boss battle not that long and without the need to cheese him.

If I remember correctly with King you also beat the one from AOF2 xDD well, I think this one is not so difficult because of the controls and because he doesn't do anything against supers like K's chain drive for example.

6:19 he just recover so fast that s all bro ! just to clarify things one thing about CPU ! it can do whatever it wants to win even break the rules and the coding of the game itself ! it can even cancel your own move after you pressed the button and make his own if you know what i mean : for ex: you do down forward punch the CPU dont want you to perform it it cancel the command ! only experts will understand what i m saying !

KOF2002UM Omega Rugal ! they already know that he so powerful that they : "say do the best you can !!" try it on level 7 ! it s the hightest level on KOF02UM an 98UM !or better yet try Chonrei in Real Bout Special ! he s one of the cheapest and toughest CPUs in Real Bout Fatal Fury Special !
