So basically, this fight is a reference to the Data East game Karate Champ, which had a bonus stage where you fight an ox. And Fighter's History does that kind of thing again in the SNES exclusive. After you defeat Karnov, you fight Chelnov, the main character from the run-and-gun platformer Atomic Runner Chelnov, also a Data East game

One of this series’ coolest points is that each fighter speaks in their native language. Except Karnov, who is from another dimension or maybe just the Data East offices.

Good stuff Justin. The Ox is a reference to Mas Oyama the Kyokushin master. He would train with oxen and once struck one hard enough to "sheer" off a horn they say. That's why the horns come off and it gets dizzy. Lol

He should have added as a bouns a deliberate failed match just to see the Ox flex, also a funny thing, using hacks if you play as Ox, the narrator says as his name "Big Tornado" (yeah, Ray's proyectile move), he has a defeated Ray mugshot in the character select + results screen, HOWEVER losing a match using Ox will crash the game.

Finally, a return to this game, I love this game btw. You're the reason I got into it, looked too sick to pass up.

Can you do the secret Ryo boss fight in Fatal Fury Special? If you want to fight him then you can't lose a single round. Ryo crossing over in Fatal Fury Special is what inspired the idea to make KOF. It's an important piece of fighting game history.

If I may suggest some games Mr. Wong... Evil Zone: Not the hardest fighting game, but it's definitely unique. Real Bout Fatal Fury Dominated Mind: Someone mentioned this already, and I agree with this. I fought the boss on the easiest difficulty, and it was still really cheap lol. Definitely one of the worst bosses in SNK history for sure. Destrega: 3D arena fighter, but might not be up your alley. Takes a couple hours to get through too. Touhou 12.3 Hisoutensoku: One of my most played fighters for like 8 years on and off, though the AI isn't...really that great, while Story Mode can get pretty rough (also only stuck with 3 characters in that game for story). Soul Calibur III: Night Terror. Just try to fight him on the hardest difficulty if possible. Capcom Fighting Evolution: Getting to your superboss for this game is...hard. But you can do it! I don't know if he's going to be as hard as any other time you've fought him though. Guilty Gear Accent Core: Getting to Order-Sol. Good...luck. Guilty Gear (the original): Haha!! Without save states, not seeing ya getting to the superboss. Also, I know you fought Red Arremer in SVC Chaos, but have you fought Athena yet?? Just to complete that game (hope you get to fight Demitri too : V ). If you haven't seen Midnight Bliss, then you don't know what you're missing~ Just to see your reaction to that in the 3 games Demitri is in would be great and be enough for a video alone lol.

Wheel kick goes trough fireballs, yikes! Meanwhile Jago from Killer Instinct (2013) has Windkick, goes trough fireballs and heavy kick version covers the whole screen, it was safe on block for most of the game's life until it was nerfed on one of the last patches.

JUSTIN WONG! ATTENTION!!!! Please do a playthrough and mastery of weapon lord for snes. Fantastic game from back in the day with both positive and negative edge special moves (think primal rage,mixed with sf2) but fatalities are done as result of combos after life full depletion. I remember doing crazy fatality combos that first disemboweled them,then chopped off their head. I could then smash their haed apart and leave their brain flying through the air, then catch that andsice it apart..... it's a very well done and beautiful game.i remember it being pretty hard.... my brother and I played hjndred of matches against each other and had a lot figured out. To this day, some 30 years later,we both remember that game and have good times talking about it. PS Time killers???

Hey, Justin. Did you ever beat Nightmare Geese in King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match? If not, then HOO BOY, are you in for a fun time with that one. That is easily the Hardest Boss Version of Geese I've ever seen. I would argue he's debatably worse than Geese in Art of Fighting II, and that's saying a lot.

No BS this game in an arcade is so hard because a lot of the hits you land with any character feels like chip damage. It starts off like if it's gonna be similar to Snk with their button scheme, and similar to SF 2 by the character select. Unfortunately once you get going it feels like your inputs are getting eaten. You special moves don't work all the time. You do any normal hits and it feels like your giving AI chip damage. They do massive damage or end up letting you get a win but immediately start being cheap after one round.
