Dog name suggestion: Petunia. Pairing the names Paloma and Petunia sounds adorable, and a flower name would fit a dachshund so well!

Paloma you should totally go with a cocktail theme name for your dog since it goes with your name too! Some options: Martini (rhymes with teeny weenie!), Piña (for piña colada), Bellini, Mojito to name a few!

Loved this episode and love you all! It's so healing to hang out with you lovely ladies every week and hear about your lives!! I wanted to throw out an idea for an episode because, honestly, I need HELP from my internet besties. I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with anger. I feel like anger is just so taboo for girls and women and it's so incredibly hard to feel an emotion but not feel safe to express it. I'd also love to hear about your personal experiences and your relationships to anger: anger in parenting, anger in romantic/work/friendship relationships, dealing with anger as a people-pleaser, stereotypes related to your identity and anger, strategies you've found that help you, anything anger related! I just wish this topic was discussed on the internet more and I value your perspectives and advice so much!! Anyway, thank you all so much for what you do!! Loving this episode so far! One thing about the new Snow White movie… agreed that people are being to harsh on Rachel Zeglar, but I think people’s anger is just directed at her instead of Disney itself. Like people are mad that this Snow White isn’t worried about having a man… in itself isn’t a problem, but I think people just want at least one movie where the princess is content with having a man without focusing on being a leader. Rachel didn’t write the movie so they shouldn’t be mad at her for that aspect… but I think the frustration dealing with that specific topic is coming from a good place. ❤️

I totally agree that people were insanely dogpiling on Rachel about the snow white thing. People are acting like she needs a PhD in snow white to play her. Not to mention she was likely given the talking points from the directors who are the ones who are actually in charge of the direction of the movie.

I am here every week and I love the pod and I’m so here for all the content! I disagree on the snow white thing specifically with how she’s handling everything. I think the comments she made in multiple interviews were incredibly rude and entitled. To just completely change the story is unnecessary. There are great things about the original the man hating is so present in 2023. Just because a man saves you doesn’t make you a weak woman

I understand inclusivity and I support that but not how they handled this movie or how they are defending her.

Love love love the catch up episodes! I have a hard time with the new snow white but not because of diversity (if anything the opposite). So with the 7 dwarves, 6 out of 7 are tall people in the live action. They could have given more opportunities for little people actors who are having a hard time finding acting jobs, but they gave all of the main parts they could have to tall people, which I've heard many little people online talk about. Just seems weird to me. Also, I am planning on see leopard sharks at La Jolla this weekend! I'm glad it didn't buy the tickets, I'm just going to get a snorkel at the store on my way to the beach! Love you guys

When I tell you that I didn't know that this many people loved Snow White until they had a female actress to rage at, it's amazing. All of a sudden everyone is saying that Snow White is their favourite Disney movie. But a big part of it is that because the strike is happening, any "scandal" is going to get so much attention because there isn't as much being thrown at us from all the current promotional tours. I remember a few creators on Tik Tok were warning everyone to behave themselves because people will be looking for things to be mad at lol

I love watching the podcast. It feels as if I'm in the room with you! For costume ideas, I always loved mixed up costumes, so some ideas: Spice Girls, but one of you is an actual spice like paprika; dominos, but one of you is a dominos worker; Wednesday, so two of you dress up as Wednesday Adams (maybe one from the show and one from the musical) and the other dresses up as the actual day, like maybe a white shirt that says wednesday.

I think you three saw the wrong types of videos about the new Snow White movies. Rachel zegler would be the new face of Snow White and what she said and her demeanor about her being the new Snow White in other words she’s representing Disney and a Disney princess and for her to act the way she did in her interviews. I mean I’m still upset that the 1937 version didn’t stay true to the Brothers Grimms version. It’s so offensive. It was entirely too cheery and didn’t capture the dark nature of the original. Where is the part where Snow White made the Queen dance until she died?! I mean the fact that Disney went with a happy ending instead of the original sadistic ending is so confusing…..

I think the problem with the new Snow White and most of the Disney remakes is that they are going harshly against the original story on purpose just to do it. Snow White being “the fairest of them all” has always meant she literally had Snow White skin. I am extremely fair skinned and I never see people with my skin tone represented but I’ve never been mad about it. It’s very hard for me to find a foundation match because I’m so pale but I never hear people talking about that. But plenty of people make a big stink about makeup companies not having enough dark shades for black women. They already made the little mermaid black, and she was supposed to be a fair skinned redhead. So Disney making Snow White Latina is just more woke casting just to do it. If we are going to race swap all the Disney characters fine, but you know you will never see a white Tiana in princess and the frog. In fact Trisha Paytas cosplayed Tianna and people got mad at her. Why is it okay to make characters darker, but we can’t go the other way and make anyone lighter? Why is that?
