In the music industry for women it's an advantage to be beautiful, but almost a disadvantage to be too beautiful. People just can't seem to comprehend that really beautiful women can also be talented and smart. It's fine to be exceptionally beautiful if your brand is your looks (model) but if you're trying to prove your talent in other areas people (usually women) have an automatic problem. Madison Beer has been known for her beauty since she entered the public eye and this has overshadowed her talent. Only real fans know how talented and sweet of a person she really is. Her songs are lyrical masterpieces, her voice is amazing and her music shows who she really is. Madison Beer as a person is one of the sweetest, kindest, funniest and most relatable celebrities we have RN. I think more people are finally catching on to her greatness, but it's annoying that it's taken so long because what is now was always there :)

i agree with her. i stopped trying to be understood by people, because there are always people out there who misunderstand me, and sometimes they do it intentionally to spread a bad image about me. feel comforted by the fact that not everyone will understand or know who you really are, and that the right type of people will.

I'm an older millennial woman who very much enjoys her music. And I think that yes, people are extremely jealous of her. I've seen this in real life when I was younger. This stunningly beautiful girl had a hard time having friends. Those who wanted to be friends felt obliterated by her presence and eventually needed to distance themselves. Its hard to walk into a room and notice that no-one seems to pay attention to you but only to your friend. Yes she was that beautiful. But she was also very funny, smart and kind. I'm glad we became friends right about the time I was mature enough to be comfortable being my own person.

If you're an exceptionally attractive person, people will assume you're stupid and/or have no personality, due to not needing intelligence or character to get by in life. And often times, exceptionally attractive people ARE stupid and have no personality, but every person should be given the benefit of the doubt. I've been guilty of judging hot people as "cardboard cutouts", "not real people" before, and shame on me for doing so. Everyone should be given a chance to have their individual merits weighed before anyone jumps to conclusions.

To be fair I think most of the hate stems from her initially lying about her mom's connections to the music industry (Scooter Braun in particular) and her lying of her cosmetic procedures. Then there was the Thank you next "I was supposed to be in the music video" and the posed BLM protest photographs etc. On top of that, I feel her branding is completely off since on Insta where she's got most of her following, she keeps posting content a model influencer would. Kinda hard to shake off that label then imo. Amazing vocals either way and her music is getting a specific sound and feel and look to it but the transparency and genuinity has simply not been there lol.

People have literally blamed her for giving young girls eating disorders…..like wtf? That’s not possible, because the only way someone can actually give you an eating disorder is if they actually tell you not to eat at all, or to binge eat the point where you can’t stop and Madison has never done either. You can’t take your own personal insecurities out onto someone, and then expect to miraculously become pretty from it. Now, I’d hate to break it to Madison but it really does stem from jealousy….yes misinformation and lies can and do spread like wildfire on the internet however, it usually opens happens to stars when they’re at the height of their careers, there’s a few people out there who see that happening, they become jealous of a lifestyle has nothing to do with them, and doesn’t impact them, they want a bit of fame and clout to so they’ll try to make up so ridiculous lies because they know what will bring in those views, and possibly fame and money.

It’s easy to let other people define you and try to get your worth from others but a lot of people are haters and they hate because of jealousy and envy. There’s no reason to hate anyone unless you hate yourself and it’s usually a personal problem with them so don’t take it personally. I have had to learn to not take things personally in my life and it hasn’t been easy. You just have to believe in yourself and love yourself and move forward.

She lied about having plastic surgery and was always saying how she was natural. Bruh first of all if you had plastic surgery it is your thing, no need to explain yourself to anyone. The problem is that she instead of saying ''None of your business'' or '' Yes I had surgery and what about it'' she continued to lie that she never had it, Kylie Jenner syndrome much? Also photoshopping your images and again saying they are not photoshopped, like wtf did you have all those plastic surgeries on your face if you are still going to photoshop your images.
