Today we talk about why so many Americans find it so difficult and expensive to move out to Mexico. Why is that some people can make it in Mexico for less than $1,500 USD and others can not? Why are so many able to acclimate easily to the Mexican Lifestyle and others can not? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eLhpfqiJttPRdZc.htmlsi=ZlfHa0d-SVfE43vv hehe I'm coming to you when I move because cartez ross posted that video above. It's $263 for a tiny studio, let alone a 1 bedroom but you're living in a two-bed two bath house for less than $100 more? I know obviously it depends on where it's located but that's a lot more value for just a little bit more money. I don't know what's up with that but I would love your opinion on this. I don't know if you guys know each other but you both have channels focusing on moving to merida

Awesome video, Jose!! And it's great you were able to gain perspective about those of us living in México with a dollar to peso conversion. It's certainly not as affordable as I thought it would be, yet it is manageable. And to answer your question: Why I Moved to México 1) I love Mexicans!! Their culture and the food. 2) I have considered it for many years and the opportunity presented itself. 3) I wanted to improve my Spanish, significantly. 4) The conditions in the United States were taking an incredible toll on my mental and physical health. 5) Residency was within reach and soon it would not be. Que tenga un excelente día. 🇲🇽 ¡¡Y Viva México!! 🇲🇽

They are under the impression that they have it better because they drive a nicer car or live in a fancy house in the USA, but the TRUE cost is health! Time!!!! It's all at a huge cost of spending extra time working and LESS time with friends and family... I don't get it!! But anyways as you have made it clear, Mexico isn't for everyone... the Culture is beautiful and warm in Mexico but not everyone wants that... who knows why? right? Keep 'em coming Jose... great work!

I am Mexican and planning to move to Mexico from many years in California and what worries me most is the expensive peso vs. the dollar. However, historically, when there is a change of presidency, the dollar value changes and I believe that with this government the expensive peso is just a falacia. The dollar will go up again as soon as other government takes charge.

Jose, have u ever taken a plane within Mexico with ur dog? My Mexican wife and I, are taking a Tufesa bus from Nogales to Obregón and then from Obregón to Mazatlán and then back after we stay a week in her hometown of Mazatlán to go to our nephew's Junior High Graduation ($50 per person & alcohol included, lol) and to go to his Quinceañero in June. Normally we would drive to Tijuana and fly from TJ to Mazatlán without our dogs, but our dogs have never been to Mazatlán, so that's why we're taking the bus, since one of our dogs would have to go into the hull of the plane and we're worried about how are dog could be treated if he was in the hull of the plane.

Hi Jose, have you heard about the NU credit card in Mexico? Could you make a video on building a credit history in Mexico as an expat please? Thank you.
@JoseArteagaTravels
@JoseArteagaTravels 2 ай бұрын
No I have not heard of that Card. But long story short how to build credit is relatively easy. Once you have Residency you can go to a bank and open up an account. After about of year of using that account and keeping it in good standing you would have built up enough credit history where they will offer you a credit card. If you apply for one and use it and build up a positive credit history with them for about another year or so they will then offer you even more loans. Credit is mainly given out and handled through banks in Mexico. The Credit system here is different than in the US but similar enough where most people can figure it out easily. Hope this information helps!

Nu is relatevely new in Mexico. Most of the segment it covers is from people who do not have an extense credit history. So, the interest rate it has is so high and the limit of the credit so low.
