Like the new approach. The separation actually feels like it had more impact on the commentary than gameplay, it felt more cohesive and the wiki sections were great to narrow the listener's focus. Maybe in the future you could also cut the gameplay to showcase what specific feature you're talking about too? Idk, i think it's good enough really.

I'd like to seem them revert the change of Preperation. Hidden is used (in my opinion atleast) to position yourself, with the new Preperation you have to use it as an escape. What i liked about the old Preperation is the momentum you could get from it, since your cooldowns get reset after a kill. What i would like to see changed about the old Preperation is it trigger on elims instead of kills, to make it more consistent. A full rest on all cooldowns after an elim is a bit OP, so it would probably be best to reduce the return you get; elims give you 50% reduction on all cooldowns, or maybe 30% or something (that's just balancing and finding the right percentage). Hope they'll bring back that playstyle, i used to go for old Preperation when our team was pretty good on the damage side, so i could focus on finishing enemies off.

Skye is pretty good early game because she has self-heals + 2 smoke bombs which gives a lot of movement speed with the card and illuminate 1 is pretty weak to counter her properly with her movement speed. So she will be pretty strong at the start of the game, but will be weaker late game so you will depend on your teammates. If the enemy team is well aware of Skye there's not much she can do once people bought illuminate and when the cauterize increases.

My main health is IO. I would like to see a video like this about her. Or maybe go over all the low rank champions and do what you did with Skye. Maybe them will listen and give them buff as well

She's just very fast, I remember her sneaking up on me as Vic and being able to burst me down before I could burst her down regardless of how quick I reacted. Even with illuminate three all she had to do was sneak my back in a longer range. I literally just have to ask the lobby to buy illuminate first item to keep sky at bay or else we're all gonna get ran over. It's not even about prediction and invisibility because her speed throws you off too hard.

I recently started to play Caspian and I really like his gun-sword gameplay, but it feels way too clunky with how bad his Q and F works. Sadly I don't think hi rez will make him better because of those players "I spent 12 years perfecting my aim with silician monks and a guy with a knife rushes me and kill me before I shoot him". I honestly belive that if you get too close to a melee user you shouldn't out damage them.

Another thing about the item topic is that she moves so goddamn fast that ilum isnt that effective anymore i could buy ilum and not even fight skye the whole game or the item never triggers cuz she shoots me before she gets in range of it

The next mini guide could be Lilith or Vora. Whit vora recent buffs and the new Lilith skin I think you could make a 2023 tutorial of both. In the case of Vora, you had already a sort of tutorial, so make an advanced Vora Tutorial.

I remember back when I played console, her old third talent that gave her instant cd was such a snowball machine. I was ALWAYS able to 1v5 the enemy team as long as I flanked their support, damage, flank, and tank in that order with small adjustments depending on the matchup. She had disgustingly high dps cuz I was able to hit every shot. It was pretty fun but Jesus Christ was it toxic. And then with the card that temporarily gave her infinite shots after you land the poison darts would essentially have it be permanent as long as you get the kill, assist or not.

Wish they would just change Preparation back to the old one when she gets a kill it heals her and resets her cool downs

I don't care about her DPS, as a Smoke n Daggers main I still think her survability is busted once the enemy buys illuminate. We need an indicator for when we're within someone's illu range.

I've mained skye for more than a year, and she's been pretty decent so far. However, lately, I've been getting owned due to people seeing me while hidden without even buying illuminate. I be sneaking up from behind, and they just turn around and laser me before I even come out of hidden, and they don't even have illuminate. Did I miss something?? I need help

My friends an i have had to basically designate ONE teammate to counter Sky specifically So only one of us has to sacrifice on the item slot. But it's gotten crazy of late with the Sky players.

she just has so much dps compared the the other controller champs. Skye has 1300 dps without counting poison bolts which do 16.4% target hp per second if my math is right. Koga has 1266 dps Lex has 1280 dps that can go up to 1472 with discovery but no poison Talus has 1158 dps that goes up to 1544 on overcharge, making his burst comparable to Skye on squishies but still loses against tanks because of the % health idk as a mouse and keyboard player i'm enjoying skye not being a throw anymore, but i think at some point debilitate might have to be nerfed, it's so powerful

Super Speed Skye with her Speed Cards, + Nimble and Lethality

For me the reason Skye is so successful can be summed up pretty easily (saying this before finishing the video lol). She's a Damage hero, not a flank (the flank title is almost misleading). She has busted movement speed. She has percent based damage. She can go invisible which is incredibly powerful and even a bit underrated because it's easily countered (doesn't make it less powerful, just manageable if you respect it). She has an ult that despite being difficult to confirm denies point in overtime and stalemates. Her ult also denies shields, baits out defensives, and she can toss it out as an oh shit button against targets that have overextended or used their dashes already. And finally, of course, she benefits from aim assist. But can't credit all her success to that. I DO think Andrew has always underrated Skye a bit (but I'm not saying she was ever this viable before lol)--and I do think that her buffs and aim assist entering ranked was about all she needed to tip her overboard. She was always annoying. Never OP but overwhelming if your teammates were disrespectful of her potential. I also agree that her increased viability is the result of all these little buffs snowballing. I also agree that "Illuminate hard counters Skye" is balanced with "Illuminate is a crappy item that can't be sold later".

Honestly I think she is a good champ but what makes her strong is the inability of other players to anticipate her. I’m a Skye main and the amount of players I see ignoring the sounds Skye makes when going to stealth is way too many. The easiest way to avoid her attacking you is listening her going to stealth. I hardly get killed by Skye as a support or dmg champ because I know how she works and listen to the sounds.

Let her be like she is this update (hard nerfed again...) but give her next change a card/change the 3 talant to a up to 120% jumpboost inside her smoke bomb. Or a dash if you press smoke bomb again while inside. Boom skye is much better to balance (high and low elo) OR just dont show hit marker while she is invis. But that will surely never happen bc low elo exist.

I dont fear skye cause im almost always playing Fernando and Fernando has a burning passive and that means i can see the damage numbers from my burn so its a dead end for Skye always XDDDDD

Enjoyed the post-commentary style. A lot more informative and the gameplay is still good too. I've called Skye "the purple bitch" ever since the very early days when a few of my friends played and called her that. She has always shredded on console and to this day a lot of people don't seem to know what Illuminate does, gah!

I love to hear mouse and keyboard players talk about how strong aim assist is and then proceed to fail at playing controller. Aim assist is bad, it never locks on properly, doesn't take ping into account and anyone good on controller disables it.

aim assist makes her a monster because she can shred people within 2 seconds, combine that with the movement speed which makes her difficult to track and a good offtank running interference an you got your answer

The problem with skye is that if she even gets close to you, you're automatically screwed! She does way too much DPS. She uses poison, pew, dead. I've been playing Paladins since mid 2018, and i still hate going up against her.

Usually sky farms to 30 or more kills a match. All aim assisted kills. When will they do something about this, why isn’t Andrew telling his channel that it’s not acceptable in ranked. It should be about player skill, If sky talus lex or koga are picked game is ruined. Not skill just aim assisted ai skill.

I play Controller since i started to play in 2018. I can assure you...all good flanks on Controller are so boring to play and the fun flanks (Vatu,Meave etc) are unplayable. And skye...still sucks...she has no dmg, no movement and no everything...she is so easy to kill. Buy illuminate and she is a free kill. Some Champs such as Rei dont even need to buy illuminate to see her. I guess high rank players are to stupid to buy right Items. She is not the worst flank. There are still Caspian and Moji. Skye is still so weak and every good flanks on Controller is better than her. If u wanna win a game. DONT. PLAY. SKYE. Imma report u if u Pick her in ranked. She is so weak and useless. Pls dont play Her. Please. Idk whats going on rn with everyone beeing to dumb to kill her but dont play her. Simple as that!

Honestly that last little line on preperations is what needs to go, she literally has a card that increases the total time invisibility is active by 5 seconds. It not working on that talent is the main issue with the talent, being able to augment talents with cards is great for game diversity.
