We need more Historian like Vikram sampath for Truthifying the History of India

I saw his debate of tharoor, and i must say it brought a lot of inconsistency in Tharoor's position.

By all accounts, Savarkar was tortured in jail both physically and psychologically. No human being should be judged for decisions he takes under that kind of duress. Nobody should be put in such terrible situations and worse, nobody should be judged for the decisions he makes under such duress.

Nehru spent 9 years in a First Class jail where he was treated like a king.

This was needed after the Dr Tharoor and Sardesai's conversation. Both of them have not given enough space to Vikram Sampath. Now this clears a lot of hot air created by that Zulfikar Tharoor

If they were so tolerant then why they turned down the invitation to Bengaluru literature festival 🤔🤔.Oh it's their standard of tolerance

Hindu civilization is secular by design. It doesn't need a separation of "church and state". It accommodates multiple belief system and places importance on individual's actions or personal responsibility, which should be foundational for any society!

An anomaly I could never wrap my head around was that the rule of Afghans, Iranians and Uzbeks is called "Islamic rule in India", while the white rule was categorised as British rule. When I inquired from my teacher, "If the rule of central asians is Islamic rule because they were muslims then the British rule should be Christian rule. Or if its British rule then the previous rules by foreigners should be categorised according to their nationality. I failed in the exams that year.

Perhaps also of some present politicians and journalists. It really feels good to know that indian history is being revised and corrected by dedicated people like him. Please be careful of Shashi Tharoor. J Sai Deepak had stripped him bare. Flowery English could not save him. Also speak to Monika Aurora about the case fought in Delhi HC which ordered the removal of a history chapter from the text book. Guess who was the author of the chapter. As a Veer Savarkar admirer I thank you for informing the world what a gem he was for India. 75 years later all his proffecies are coming true. I feel that in another 10 years Gandhi will be one of the obscure point in congresses political toolkit.

Enjoyed reading both books on Savarkar by Vikram and happily changed my opinion about Savarkar reading unpartisan and factual presentation by Vikram. History we were taught is Congress version. Look forward to his books on Shivaji & Tipu Sultan. Strength and respect to Vikram and we should not stifle his freedom of speech.

Vikram Sampath is one of the few articulate voices who is hitting very effictively at the 'cancel culturists' ...who r no more having a free run...so no surptises here! More than Tharror the anchor of the program is a bigger cancel culturist!
