I’ve been a “sofa traveler” for a while, but watching you travel the world by trike has been an eye opening experience for me. I started researching trikes about the time I started watching your KZfaq videos and eventually started saving for one. It’s been a long-time dream for me to own a trike and it came true, just yesterday. I know it’s just the beginning for me and I’m excited for the adventures with this trike. Loved and hated this at the same time. Reason is the truth in what you are saying regarding 1st hand experiences vs vicarious experiences. Now that is one of the reasons JaYoe is in my favorite 2 channels. It's the closest traveler/adventurer channel to the real thing. The pace , the variety , the ups and downs. Now I (in my 20's) traveled for 8 years through Africa and have been to East Asia and China a few times but unfortunately my joints are now stainless steel ceramic and kevlar so I can not physically do these things. That is the part I hate . 2.8 crew for each guest , you should have got that colonial era hat , it would have been fitting.

..someday Matt, Son Doong Cave definetly on my list! Thank you Matt for sharing. I watched you cycle Hokkaido.. I did it 2018, I watched you cycle South Korea.. planning it this July. Taiwan is next on the list too. My work allows only 1month paid leave per year (not guaranteed) so I make the best of it when I bicycle tour. I told myself I'm not going to wait 10-20 years to retire and do this. People like you and your friend Matt inspired me to start something and I Did IT for the first time and found that missing puzzle in my life i wanted to do blocked by my fears of traveling.. yes, I feared traveling alone. The more I do it the more the fears goes away the more inspiration and control I have.

the sound of waterfalls near by are a lullaby making the brains cleansing and its water giving you the unlimited fresh air. but missing the moonlight which is somewhat considered as a love . the best concert hall for playing the music in the world. sweat !!!

Dive town Cairns lot of options having done most diving experiences round far north queensland can recommend live aboard ribbon reefs /tusa dive and agincourt reef out of port douglas scenic drive north of cairns and ss yongalla wreck south of townsville so many options here also michealmans reef for a "The Birds "type experience would be my picks also chillagoe caves think largest lava cave in the world looks nice vietnam

@@JaYoeNation we rode a small 125cc scooter around the whole island for a month. We went travel to a lot of places you visited. Hualien was a place we could have lived as we loved Taroko National Park. Plus what happened to the big map zoom in at the start of your Vlog? And HoiAn, remember I have a contact there that could show you some great sites and kayaking on the river there.

Please tell me that Matt didn't run with the bulls in Pamplona. The town and the fiesta are amazing, but the running of the bulls is cruel af, and then they torture them to death in the bullring. I really hope he was decent enough to take part in that sorry spectacle. :(

It’s a story. He regrets the bullfighting end of the whole thing. But the city and the festivities not related to the bullfighting was something he did love. Sad it had to revolve around torturing an animal like that.

I did run with the bulls but did not partake in the bullfighting at night. I witnessed bullfighting in Madrid prior to this which completely turned me off of ever going to the San Fermin Festival. @@mjfraser04 Hi Matt Thanks for replying. I must admit I'm curious about how you made you mind up to give bullfighting a miss and yet were convinced to take part in the sanfermines. The fiestas in the street are amazing, especially if you have never experienced anything like that, I've been a few times and I never saw a single bull. (I'm the guy who lives near Botín in Madrid). I'm not sure how to message you personally. Maybe you could write a few lines here if you feel like it. But don't feel obliged to explain yourself. I wouldn't do it but I'm sure you had your reasons. Many people feel that running with the bulls is just harmless fun. but the bulls are absolutely terrified and are often injured by people or by falling on the cobbled streets breaking their legs before they even get to the bullring. Here is a bull breaking both of its back legs as soon literally as it gets out of the truck. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7FxlLpync-UhKs.html (This one is In Madrid, not Pamplona but you get the idea). @@JaYoeNation Yes, the festivities are pretty intense and are well worth a visit. It's full-on, hard partying! You don't need to even lay eyes on a bull. The "running" takes place at 8 in the morning, way before I am usually awake, anyway, especially if you've been partying all night. Many people stay up all night, take part in the running and then sleep in the street. Unless you are there early to witness that or but a ticket for the slaughter in the bullring , you won't see a single bull. I've been and I didn't see any.

Please take this constructively. But there is just too much emphasis about you in your videos. It's getting to the point where I no longer really look forward to the next one despite the awesome views of the coutryside and people. It's kind of a lazy option imho to focus on yourself so much. Instead, focus on researching a bit more about the area you are traveling in, its people, the economy, the history, the plants, the animals, the agriculture, the businesses, the politics, the recent developments, etc.etc. Yes, this takes more preparation and effort, but if you want a wider audience, or in my case to keep a loyal fan watching, it needs more substantive content. Again, I only say this in an effort to help. JaYoe

Well, if I wanted to know more about those things that you talk about, I would look up wikipedia and other news sites. A traveler's personal experiences are what makes their videos unique, because every traveler's experience is different. And in sharing those experiences, they hope to inspire others to do the same. Hope you understand that.

It is interesting how different things appeal to different people. The fact that he puts more emphasis on his experience and his impressions and his thoughts is precisely what keeps me coming back to watch the next episode. I want to see the views and the countryside and the people and the sites, but I find it so much more interesting to see it through his particular lens (if that makes any sense whatsoever!). He shares so much with us that most KZfaqrs don't, and in a way that is all his own. Sometimes I stop to think about how much I appreciate that. I don't mean to be argumentative with you semidemiurge. This is definitely a subjective preference kind of a thing. I just thought it might be worthwhile to toss another perspective out for consideration!
