Hi girls.., We Malaysians are very friendly and helpful and, most of us drive a car so it is normal for guy friends or even girl friends to offer to pick you up or send you home. It is a friendly gesture as we do care for the safety of our friends. Even when each of us drives , we will WhatsApp each other to inform that we’ve arrived home safely after our outing.

Picking up by car is considered as normal in Malaysia among friends if they knew you do not own a transport. Japanese may look at things differently but for Malaysian, its just a form of providing necessary assistance whenever we are able to, as friends should do. Well, at times, if we knew they have a transport, we insist them to pick us up and its not a problem among friends (in Malaysia at least) since there is a conceptual understanding as mentioned above... but most of the time we just request them for pick up because we are too lazy to deal with public transport 😂. Nevertheless, its one form of Malaysian social manner - considerate and compassion, which is also the basic skills rooted deep inside our 'soul' that make us (as one nation but different in many ways) accept and respect each others' culture and religion.

i also have many malaysian male and female friends and it's normal if they pick you up by using a car especially when they know you don't have your own transport..that's normal so don't be surprised😁 Treating food is also a habit for Malaysians..😁

In Another words, we called “ dare to lose”.. it gives you positive mode and reduces your stress, as results, makes you happy and always positive.
