Let's learn a bit more about vegetables in Malaysia. If the vegetable is cooked, it is called 'sayur'. If it is eaten raw or with a short dip in hot water, it is called 'ulam'. Bonus: Rice with husk that is just harvested from the land is called 'padi'. De-husked rice like the ones we buy in shops or supermarket is called 'beras'. When it is cooked it is called 'nasi'.

Glad you like our authentic cuisine of Temerloh my hometown. Patin Bangau restaurant is one of the fav spot for one of the tastiest patin fish stewed with tempoyak in Temerloh

There are restaurants around KL/Selangor offer Patin tempoyak-based dishes but still those from Temerloh are on the next level since its the place of origin. Their source of Patin fish is 'just next door' 😅 ...and the next best thing about local countryside establishments is all ingredients fresh from the local market that morning which makes even simple vegetables taste honmani tottemo mecha kucha oishii ...desu! 🤤

Tempoyak makanan dri Indonesia khususnya berasal dri bagian barat Indonesia yakni Jambi dan Palembang yg dimana provinsi ini memiliki budaya suku Melayu asli dan tertua di dunia(Asia tenggara) 👍 Saya yakin kedai itu diaspora dri orang Indonesia yg datang ke sana dan jdi warga negara disana/menikah
