JL Audio is among the best sounding in the world. While many subwoofers sound like fart do to mechanical noises, JL can achieve a good amount of excursion and you hardly hear any mechanical noises.

Proves subwoofers, like instruments, that vibrate, have a distinct sound. JL audio has that IT factor. In the early 90's, we were in SQ build and won first in 96 Iasca Philippines. The van was loud and clean sounding. Back then I knew it was only a matter of time they'd jump from car audio to home audio. When they did, in Home theatre, it was easy kill to demolish those velodynes, Miller and Kriesel which were top.

Those that love the W7 13.5 i have videos on my channel i took JLs motor and 3.5' coil and put them on a 18" basket with carbon fiber cone, mega roll surround and carbon fiber dust cap..Also did a a spider with woven tensel leds..Plays super low and sounds really clean doing it

JL is for begginers or nubes who no nothing better, it just like "BOSE", maybe a little better

for 1400$ there a lots of better options no way I'm paying more than maybe 600$

this vid is sad, JL (junk labs) is not anywhere near "the best".....the 13w7 annaversary, sounds ok..if i found one on my front door for free, i would prolly keep it. but spending over $100 for it would be insane

The w7s magnet magnets way better than other subs magnets. If the W7S motors were so ground breaking China would copy it 120%... Why wouldn't they? And don't say any patent or copyright babble china doesn't care, they do it every day. It's a sub motor, decent design sure special not at all., it's all just marketing.
