Rory was actually involved in business decisions that Joe would speak to him about (although after a while we saw Joe hide something’s from his nearest and dearest friends), Till this day Joe tells flip he an employee so he has no business asking him about business dealings that goes on with JOE podcast. That why Joe call flip corny and annoying for “pocket watching” I understand that Flip believes he “saved” Joe podcast by him being there but as we saw even when Joe lost his two best friends and cohosts, he still was successful. When it comes to Rory and Mal they got to ask all these questions and have input because they were profit partners and started that podcast build up together. But like I said before Joe did Rory and Mal dirty and stop being a team player so now that Flip is around he being more of a Boss than a friend. They friends after the podcast but during the podcast Joe is their Boss.

I thought like this for a minute too but the only thing that makes me think they wouldn’t is the money. I’m not sure but I don’t think that their professions outside of the pod makes them the same or more money than what they make with joe. Again I’m just being speculative but I think there are some past episodes that most of the cast would have left and never came back had they had another source of income that could completely cover what joe is paying them. Either that or this is all a big movie and we’re supposed to be thinking all of this but I’m really they’re all reading from a “ love and hip hop “ type script in padcast form.

Flips only doing this because he believes that He saved Joe podcast and I get where he is coming from but he needs to know Joe is his boss while on the podcast but after the podcast they are friends. But basically Joe is not making the same mistake twice and he drawing a clear line with Flip and letting him know I’m your Boss forget all this friendship stuff. He said he don’t owe his “friends” respect so after hearing that if he don’t even respect his own people then why would I work for a dud that don’t even understand basic principles when he is running a business. Always treat your employees with a certain level of respect. If you employee start with the disrespect your within your right to get rid of them but if it the other way around that employee is free to make a complaint or even sue for “harassment” in the work place. Obviously that not what flip is accusing Joe of but Joe needs to treat the people around him better and Flip needs to understand Joe is his boss first and friend second.

In this instance it sounds like he has the right/ability to deny pay during a suspension. That doesn’t mean he has to exercise that right…. an option, not a mandate
