When you look at this 24-25 roster, from top to bottom - there is no glaring weakness. As much as I'd like to say the 23-24 team is arguably one of the best SC teams of the Staley era, the 24-25 team (at leasst, on paper) looks even better - which is mind-blowing.

Doesn’t matter she dropped I know she’ll be the number 1 draft pick going to WNBA.. same to Aliyah Boston number 3 recruit to 1 draft pick.. That Dawn Staley effect!

Edwards was on the US team for the FIBA under-19 World Cup competition last year. Kitts, Rice, McMahon, VanSlooten. Several decent college players were on that team. And Edwards was still one of the best players on the team. She is going to be good day one.

She played the best in those all star post high school games...i think she is the best ready to play recruit.. The downgrade in my understanding had nothing to do with her play and talent..rather the down grade was due to her high schools national ranking. Where strong's hs was ranked higher and the new #2 player as well. .

JE is going to be great with this team.... if you want to be pro ready, you go to USC.

Joyce was originally the #1 player in this class. I'm beginning to question why she keeps being shifted down, especially after she just won Gatorade National Player of the Year and MVP in like three different high school all-star games.

I'd take SC next year and give up the field if i were betting. Clemson gets what SC doesn't want in state.

Whether she is one, two or three really doesn't matter. In the end, it's all subjective. For example, people see artwork differently. What I may think looks beautiful, you may believe that another piece of art works better for your living room. It's primarily about the fit for each team. That's why so many players head for the portal in later years - to seek a better fit for themselves.

At 6'3" with the skill set that she brings to SC. Here's a thought, what if she grows another inch or two while here.

Joyce Edwards should not have dropped to number 3 my question is what made her drop? I feel Joyce is number one and watching her play don't understand why Sarah Strong being rank higher because ESPN loves Sarah.

Just what SC needs ... ANOTHER big! And more talent! You didn't even mention Fulwiley! What's that saying ... the rich keep getting richer. With this year's incoming freshmen, not to be confused with last year's incoming freshmen, 24-25 is shaping up to be a really fun and interesting season.

Joyce is a further along version of Kiki Iriafen at a younger age.

If you look at SCs roster there's a ton of girls from right around Columbia past and present.

She's a brilliant young lady. That 5.08 g.p.a. though and she's going to be an Environmental Engineer. BB is a plus. Kudos to her!!

Uconn fan here. Joyce is not a #3. Definitely a #2 and could easily tie Strong for #1. Strong's edge is that she is a better shooter and passer.

If you're actually using worthless all star games as an argument on why someone should be #1, you don't no ball at all. I don't care how much (or little) defense you think is actually being played in those games, but that's an exhibition gala. Joyce is still number 1 over Strong, but looking at all star tapes as any reasoning is hilarious.

Morrow, FJ, Williams, Samiyah Smith coming back, and now with these 3 and Jersey from Arkansas. Mulkey still has room for 2 more if she chooses. I Think one more Big to go along with Smith and Del Resario would be ideal. People hating on Mulkey forget she knows what the hell she’s doing and her recruiting is done behind the scenes.
