@@ilikestamps2978 if you want to punish an electric you still have to be very close to him because it's not that laggy. Being in a position to punish electrics is riskier for you than it is for Kazuya, especially since he can just crouch dash to get the extra distance to reach you

Because he carries you. You did see results with Terry but you where nowhere near top 20. When Kazuya was released, first you inmediately were top 20 then top 8, and top 5 for a time. Why would anyone that is good at Kazuya drop him? He's a carry character.

Yeah Kazuya is very good but you can say it’s the same with other characters to like aegis, steve, joker, sonic and so on. And for my part I need to say that learning kazuya neutral and how to utilise his movement right, very hard but that’s just my opinion

So carried that is the only one in the world able to use him properly. The only thing that put Terry under kazuya is the shitty recovery. But a real player (not you noob complaining) knows very well that his Terry is way better than Kazuya. The change of results from 20th to top ten was a mix of Kazuya's inexsperienced mu, Terry's exploitable recovery and knowledge mu and Riddles' daily grind. Accept that and be a better human

on the bad matchup topic: this isn’t a unique thought but I find the way that some characters force you to play against them to be sooo unrewarding and even when you win it feels kinda slimy. think sora, olimar, or aegis, lotta ugly finishes in those sets
