*I honestly love how more casual Khonshu become throughout the Series. At first he was something straight out of a ghost movie but by the end he was straight up wearing a 3 piece suit in a limo!!*

Khonshu was one of my highlights of the show, with his satisfying voice and fight scene was top tier

Ammit's godly design was brilliant. Saba Mubarak who is the voice actress of Ammit was also perfect casting for this role. Her voice was just so deep, powerful, regal, sensual, and petty. Saba couldn't have done a better job, but I low-key wish we could have seen more of Ammit lol

Taweret was the cutest... But Khonshu was everything 😩❤️

I actually love ammit's design. It's really cool how they did the hair/tail. I also loved khonshu's design. I loved how he speaks without his mouth moving but somehow it doesn't look weird at all.

I always figured he looked different due to being outcast/"forgotten" by the other gods yet not confined to the ushabti. While Ammit's confinement might have preserved her form despite ostracism by both the Ennead and humanity, Khonshu's appearance could have withered to reflect his fading into obsolescence (hence the codependency on/obsession with his avatars, as he's actually pretty insecure in his need to stay relevant).

Honestly, I'm actually pretty happy with Tawaret's concept because she reminded me so much of Gloria from the Madagascar animated film. Her bright, cheery and witty personality is definitely very fitting.

Khonshu is a grandson of Gaea. And Gaea is a sister of Chthon. And in MOM Wong mentioned Chthon. And we have already seen Khonshu. So I am sure elder gods are near. They are coming.

I really, really REALLY hope they do a second season. The last episode felt like they were just getting started!

I really hope marvel gives us at least 8 episodes next season we better get another season cuz this was by far the best mcu show and I always wanted moon knight to get his own show or movie and hopefully he gets both and marvel just keep switching it up with him

for me, this is the best show that Disney has made till now and without disrespecting the others. this show has everything well-done nothing feels forced or propagandistic I think you can identify with the characters without being Egyptian or having two personalities, in conclusion, a really enjoyable show and I think this should be an example for others to come, i want more of this please.

The thought of a guy like Khonshu being in broad daylight always looked weird in my head but they made it look natural in the show somehow

It is SO hard to make a hippo seem "fun and approachable but ALSO regal" which is just such a different challenge as compared to the other 2 characters. Loved how they made her this almost motherly character and then when Layla became her avatar she had a straight up BADASS costume and weapons - after all, a mother can be VERY fierce

I loved the details put into the three gods animation and design, but especially Ammit. The way her tongue forks out when she says an "L", the way Harrow is reflected in her eyes. And how she admonishes Khonshu for being low on faith is a classic (she measures him up and down with her eyes, spot on!). Also, Tawaret's feet spreading slightly when they take her weight after each step.

Khonshu and Venom being made into live action was the best thing that happened to monster lovers and I'm glad Marvel acknowledged it

this show honestly has my favourite character designs in the whole mcu. and I definitely think they managed perfectly to put all those thoughts into the character design. they each have a different feel about them even if you wouldn't know what they are like. such amazing work. also I'm happy Ammit's hair was adressed in this video too bc when I had noticed how she moves it like a tail I was totally amazed by that design choice!

When Marc Spector is saved from death in the comics by the Egyptian Moon God Khonshu, he is chosen to be the Moon Knight's priest/fist. In keeping with mythological descriptions, his depiction in comics features the bird's skull as that of an eagle or falcon. This, as well as a staff, is topped with a crescent moon.

It'd be satisfying if Moon Knight cameoed in Love and Thunder since the villain is out to kill all the gods. I'd love to see him fight Khonshu. SPOILER FOR NO WAY HOME I'm also wondering if his symbiote weapon will help lead the tiny speck of Venom from No Way Home to Spiderman because of the whole multiversal hive mind thing

What's interesting about Khonshu's design, at least from my understanding, is that it's technically inaccurate but the inaccuracy is pretty minor so it doesn't really matter. Khonshu's design in the comics seems to be a clever hybrid of the two designs that depicted Khonshu in ancient Egyptian paintings; Khonshu was originally depicted as either a mummified child or a human with the head of a falcon. In the comics and the show he's meant to look like he has the skull of a falcon for a head but the shape seems to be slightly inaccurate and lacks the dark tip shown on the end of a falcon's skull. Now, you could make the argument that the original depiction from ancient Egyptian mythology was of Khonsu and not Khonshu but the issue there is that Khonshu is simply a transliteration of Khonsu. Personally I would just use the multiverse argument and claim that Khonshu either had the head of a different bird or that falcon skulls simply look different in the universe that Moon Knight takes place in. Now if I am wrong about anything I would just like to point out that I am neither a historian or a zoologist and won't act like I know better than anyone else. I still think the design of Khonshu looks pretty badass, even if it is inaccurate, and given the nature of Marvel's stories I think a little bit of inaccuracy is no bad thing...basically I'm using a toned down version of the Yu-Gi-Oh defence (though to be honest Yu-Gi-Oh was a hell of a lot more inaccurate when it got to ancient Egyptian mythology. I'm not saying there couldn't have been an ancient Egyptian pharaoh with a Japanese name in ancient Egyptian mythology with really spiky looking hair but I'm willing to bet there wasn't).

All three of the gods designs were fantastic, loved this show so much!

Assuming season 2 is in the works, it would be great to see the origin story of Khonshu and the other gods in their prime (even though they kind of already are in S1) and how the Avatars for them worked back in Egyptian Times, if they even used Avatars or if they used their own corporeal bodies

Fun thing I found out: Thor is Khonshu’s half-uncle. In the comics, Khonshu’s father is Atum, and Atum is the son of Gaea by Demiurge. Gaea is also the mother of Thor via Odin

I just looked upped Egyptian myths and Khonsu is sometime described as a falcon headed god with a moon disk instead of the usual sun disk, or as a young man with green skin. He's also the god of time, youth, and fertility. Tawaret has her hippo head but also lion paws, a crocodile tail and a large pregnant belly.

I watched it. no mistakes were made. well done you guys.

I will then sneak them into the fried food sections of the buffet. It then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the buffet enjoying my corndogs. They think they are part of the buffet. (;
