He’s on the plane. The only question is whether he would start. Provided he maintains current form - and there is no reason why he shouldn’t - I think Southgate will start him. Southgate himself has already given us the reason - “he offers us something we don’t currently have”. ‘Nuff said.

He really revolutionised our midfield. I agree wholeheartedly woth everything you've said. Its worth noting that his work rate from a defensive perspective is fantastic as well, i can remember an instance where he lost the ball to Doku and was able to get back into him and win it back

I came back to the comments section to see the thriving debate only to see that this video doesn’t have 10’s or hundreds of thousands of views. A lot of creators have made this kind of video but I really think this is the best in breaking down why he needs to be on the plane. Explaining the 5-5 concept and his role, good illustrations etc. excellent work!

Are you a Man Utd fan? If you aren't, this is solid. As a United fan, the true test for how good the player is, for me is: - What opposition players are saying - What opposition fans are saying Just trying to make sure this isn't another hype video and an honest review. Well made video too. I usually have short attention span and I was able to finish this comfortably. Not too long and with enough details. Well done

I think it's a myth that you need 11 older, more experienced players at a major tournament. The old " you can't win anything with kids " nonsense. It's been proven wrong time and time again. Younger players often are fitter, and play with no fear. Just look at our under 21 team. Also, why is no one talking about the importance of having 5 subs available? This presents many tactical options, with the wealth of talent available, and Gareth could learn alot from Sarina Wiegman.

By the in the summer before the injury, wen Mainoo played RIGHT BACK defender for about 45 minutes..he looked much better than both Bissaka and Dalot.. in the academy wen he played Center Back defender once in a while, he looked like rio Ferdinand , then wen he played 10, his assists and goals were way up there statistically

Shout out for Ross Barkley. 3 of Luton’s next 4 games are away at Spurs, Arsenal and Man City. If he is impressive against that lot, Southgate should think again and get him in the squad for the 2 pre-tournament friendlies. Barkley would bring creativity to that England midfield. He’s probably in competition with Conor Gallagher, Henderson and Palmer for that final place. May the best man win!
