@@ophiolatreia93 1- watch the video. 2- oxygen aids in oxidizing other things, so it makes flames bigger, but it wont burn by itself, so it doesn't count as a "fuel".

So, my gamer tag that I've been using for the past 20 years is CharredRemains... I like fire lol. The steel wool's reaction with the liquid oxygen in the foam cup was one of the coolest reactions I've ever seen in slow mo. Awesome shot guys

I don't think it would do much as in thermite reaction oxygen is only transfering from iron oxide to aluminum. 2Al+Fe2O3--->Al2O3+2Fe Liquid oxygen shouldn't really do much as it doesn't need environmental oxygen to burn.

@@gameplayerslovenia954 It would just shift the reaction to burn aluminium powder in liquid oxygen, which again sounds like a reaction you might not want in your close vicinity.

Actually, Black burnt marshmallow's DO NOT even remotely taste as bad as you would think. The shell is thin and has a weird texture, but the slightly bitter taste from the shell and the sweet liquid core tastes amazing together.

What Sam Scow said, but I mean, we could put it under pressure to let the oxygen stay liquid at room temp, but I'm pretty sure the orbies still wouldn't 'absorb' any... and the moment you released the pressure, they'd probably just pop if they had managed to take any in. On the other hand, I use tetrafluoroethane in coke bottles to make special effects with instant freezing 'water'.... so.... I'd like to see what happens either way.

I Will not make a difference. The reaction is between the iron oxide and the aluminum not the air.

Thermite doesn’t require oxygen for the reaction. Oxygen won’t affect it.

Rust is caused by oxidation so if you drop iron in liquid oxygen will it rust?

Burning stuff is just a really quick and agressive oxidation. Yes liquid oxygen would create a rust coating on the material.
