Winning at the etihad has always been tough for Liverpool or for any club for that matter. We need our enigma Nunez to score instead of making misses. That’s what decides the match.

Liverpool will lose by 2 or 3 goals at the Etihad. They are a very good side; but they don't look like a winning team, much of the time. The game against Newcastle was very lucky; the games against BRIGHTON and LUTON (think about that) were dire performances. Against City they will suffer their first big, proper loss of the season.......the loss against Spurs was manipulated by the officials.

I think you’re exaggerating a little. A world class CDM would be a big boost, but a left/right back and a center back would all play a rotation role to more senior players and hopefully could come into regular first team football as they are phased out over the coming years.

@@Smoke-Plays sure but liverpool don't have good back up cb and rb and Lb remember Robertson is 29 yrs, Matip is 32 , and Virgil van Dijk is also 32 , if we being honest we want trent to evolve into a Cm and tsimikas isn't a good enough back up if we being honest van dijk could get injured and konate is always injured but u right in saying I'm exaggerating but it's because I've seen this team miss out on so much trophies cause they don't have enough depth

At least we need 1cb and 1dmf in winter to make sure we can be a title contender

@@Mr.PlotTwistyeah I get you, and in the long term of the club you’re definitely right about what we need. It’s sure the back up would create good depth and competition for places. Trent as a CDM, I’ll be honest I think we don’t gain enough in midfield from what we loose as a right back for it to work out well. I know it’s early days and he could prove me wrong but I feel some goals have came from silly mistakes made by Trent to play that role regularly. It’s like trading a world class RB for a mediocre CDM in my eyes. Again I could definitely be proven wrong on that one.

Many top sides will struggle Luton away bro. Chill. It’s the size of the pitch, it makes it difficult to play actual football. City will also struggle there. We’ve played more tough away games than any one else. Spurs, Chelsea, wolves, Brighton, Newcastle. That’s big. City haven’t played Brighton, spurs, and Newcastle away. Luton too, which sounds ridiculous but that small pitch will make it very hard for them. We’ve had one bad game and ur throwing ur toys out the pram. Relax. And u are so flippy floppy with ur opinion. U will be saying we’re winning the league if we beat city. Don’t think with ur emotions, think with ur brain. And the fact is our team hasn’t even fully clicked yet. We have 4 brand new midfielders. And a big reason we drew to Luton was that jones didn’t play, our only midfielder that’s fully up to speed with the style of play. Notice that? The only games we’ve dropped points in are the ones where jones didn’t play the majority of the match. There’s still way more to come from this team. We will improve massively even after this great start. It’s scary for the rest of the league.

Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen are a big threat - theyre flying in Bundesliga - theyre the team to watch really. But yes, we should be aiming to win it and at least have a strong title push.

He’s not my ideal dm too small to be a good dm and I don’t think that position is his best anyway.

Too young, unexperienced and because of his lackness of physicality he would probably work out better further up the pitch and we shouldn't rely on him starting anyways his body is obviously not ready yet for starting pl games every week and his late injuries are showing it
