i'm italian and i feel he has ever been underrated here. everytime people was saying:"he's too short/light/weak for this football... and shit like this", he wasnt a starter in juventus, he wasnt actually playing at 27... so obviously he decided to move and mls gave him 7 mln per year: what would you do? his technique is just superb, everyone agree with it. sometimes italian football is just "oldminded", we prefer tactical and consistent players than creative player, everybody knows here ( im just giving you an example) the neverending problems between a legend like baggio and italian coaches.
