If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not sure if equities will swiftly recover, keep falling, or fluctuate in a narrow range for a few weeks, or if things will quickly get worse. I'm under pressure to increase my $85k reserve.

In real estate it's location, location, location; in trading it's discipline, discipline, discipline. Not going on tilt, controlling FOMO, not letting a small stop loss turn into a blown account, staying out when there's no setup--it's all discipline.

Thanks ApeCrazy! For me it was always keeping an open mind and learning as much as possible, then sticking with a methodology that made the most logical sense to me. As students the best thing we can do is ask why, so I look for teachers who can give objective answers.

Hey James, thank you so much for taking the time to give me (and us) more insights on this. Appreciate that really. And great reminder about "logical" and "being objective" - there are just so many gurus after each bull market, but not a lot can survive and keep performing cycle after cycle. I guess I just saw too many gurus and teachers promoting certain methods in the crypto space which then failed miserably when the bear market comes 😅 @@jamesrichyoung

A higher time-frame swing trading strategy can also be used on stock and sector indexes. No news required partly because the key moving averages and resistance / support / overbought / oversold zones tell everything a trader needs to know. Trades can last days or weeks for people that trust their system enough to hold overnight. If price is above a rising 5-day EMA, a swing trader stays long because nobody knows how long the trend can keep going.

@bballah9969
@bballah9969 10 ай бұрын
Simple retail traders like Ross Cameron from Warrior Trading and many others trade small caps because they make big moves with a small float. The mid and large caps don't make big moves like small caps. It's very common for small caps to make thirty percent plus gains. Look at today's runner $VFS for example this stock is up over 100% today.

They have free live trading and education channels now that trade all day, so at least is easier to get the education and practice. But, no matter what, it's up to the trader. Most education sites have no real path to success either like a regular school would have. The first day, you should know what a stock is. The first week, you show know all the workings of a stock and the stock market. The third week, you should master identifying just one pattern. The fourth week, you should be able to trade that pattern but only in almost perfect conditions so that pattern will have a high chance of working. I have taught a friend how to trade just one pattern, and guess what, he picked up on the rest of trading much faster that regular, cause he had the hands on first, and then the confidence. Most online education is a scam cause they don't do that.
