Mythic Plus is getting an overhaul in The War Within in the affix department. In the War Within, Blizzard is peeling back layers of fiddly mechanics and offering new Xal'athath's Bargain affixes that can affect you in a good or a bad way. Also, Tyrannical AND Fortified for ten keys or higher and tripled timer penalty for death on a seven up. This show includes discussion of the WoW news of the week and answering questions. If you have any questions that you'd like answered in a Saturday News, include the word 'question' and leave them as comments!

Thank goodness that back piece from the TP was only 300 tender, not 800 or I'd have passed. And yeah, my addons are saying I don't have all the TMogs even though I'm sure I bought everything as well. Pretty sure it is just the ID on the item - I have the 'appearance' but not from that particular item I guess.

The remix sets can show up on the vendors as not being purchased after purchasing them. Happened to me a few times. If you buy all the new class specific mogs on one character, they'll be available for purchase on a different character.

I'm loving the m+ changes , as a healer main not having to be the one stuck dealing with most affixes will be a breath of fresh air Dps can't stop pushing or killing 1 mob at a time... No matter no more bursting, ppl can't be bothered to dispell/ off heal the ghost ... No matter it's gone Omg I'm so exited for the new season to start 😊

i feel ya Hazel...for the midsummer drake armor... i didn't get it the first day, but luckily the day before i started a 6 day 12 hour a day, 72 hour work week, i was lucky enough to get it to drop on my druid...so i feel ya for that.. still missing horseman/s mount and Yeti mount for Xmas but i too think this system is very good in the long term

Lately I've found the rewards for completing the Trading Post bar a bit lackluster. A pet is kind of okay, I guess, but I literally have hundreds of them, so the chance of me ever summoning this one is incredibly slim. They also must have lost the plot with the amount of tender required for certain items... 800 tender for a back piece?? The previous ones were in the 200 range! Rather disappointed about that...

I wish the end rewards for the trading post wasn’t ever a pet. Everyone uses mounts and transmog but not everyone pet battles or has companion pets out. It just seems like the end reward should be something that most people would use. I myself do use pets but I feel bad for those who don’t.

The vendor tier sets are usable on all classes that can have that gear type. Collecting the sets naturally is locked to that class I believe

My 476 hunter is hardcapped with speed, never needed gems. You only need a couple of thousand speed to hardcap it, my cloak alone actually overcapped it. But then in 476 all stat is hardcapped (BM hunter: 100% crit, 255% mastery, 126% haste, 128% versa, 49% leech & speed, or somewhere in the high 40s). My hunter runs with double trailblazer, so she can run with 220% run speed out of combat with a lust pet (aka non speedy).

I believe remix toons will be transferred to retail so you can keep playing them in regular WoW.

Same, it ruins the experience. I hate the artificial pressure, not to mention how basically all of the hostility comes from the risk of burning keys. It's literally the source of all the problems.

Luckily this is why they changed the Heroic and Mythic0 difficulties to be more relevant. Hopefully you can enjoy something of a challenge in M0 without the timer going forward.

Question. Do you think they will update the Keystone Master achievement? (for the legion artifact appearance) I'm not much of a M+ player so completing a +15 seems impossible now. Thanks for always keeping us updated! X

"We’re evaluating how dungeon scores are granted under this new model." in the last M+ blogpost, so no-one exactly knows how KSM will be awarded. In the last 2 xpacs they made a few changes to key levels and key scaling and they've adjusted KSM with that. Now KSM is getting 2k score which is around doing all dungeons on a +5 (which was a recent change to dungeon levels) on both Fortified and Tyrannical. You can however trade off between dungeons so you can do +6s on an easier dungeon and do +4s on a harder dungeon and you'll still get 2k score.

@@Hazelnuttygames Thank you for the reply. I did manage to figure it out. You have to unlock the campaign once gettering renown level 4 with all 4 factions. Then Brann will offer you the quest. The fourth rep took some work.

I wasn’t going to play remix but I got sucked into the hype and now I’ve found myself wanting to play remix over retail because it’s just a lot more fun with the gem system that now when I do play my regular characters I feel like they suck and are boring in comparison. I’m going to miss having the remix system when it’s gone, not necessarily pandaria though I’m getting kinda sick of being stuck in one expansion only.

This needs to stop , the Trading Post is get more and more expensive with the traveler's log reward getting worst and worst , either they want to create this sense of exclusivity or they are just prepping things to introduce trader's tender as MTX in the store, I will bet on the latter.

I''m confused why so many people are so happy that they got rid of affixes for the top 1% of players ( those who push the highest keys past the reward max) and the rest of us still have to deal with them? Originally affixes were said to keep the dungeons interesting because they didn't have rotations. Now we have rotations so ... there's literally no reason for them anymore? Why can't we all have just a scaling challenge instead of this poking 99% of us in the eye with rando-crap that always comes at the worst time possible? Furthermore the 15s death penalty is the worst IMO - Blizz has a horrible record of insanely bad graveyards to begin with so dying causes a huge time penalty to run back anyways -- adding this 15s per death on top of it is like a professional hit job?! And people are celebrating this? Confused here.

So it's.. just the same now all the time except if you start with Fortified or Tyrannical..? That's... not fun. People will get bored after a while with this I promise you. It sounds nice but it will feel much more repetitive over time. I am one of those who push beyond +10 by quite a bit and I'm not liking what I'm hearing here. The skill EXPRESSION is lower and that feels less fun. How am I supposed to see who is a really good tank now if they don't have to handle any mechanics but JUST the dmg mitigation? Same with dps but for other affixes. I'm not liking this at all..

I absolutely agree. I liked the affixes and I like the changes each week. I think they needed to revamp and change the affixes and bring new ones.. not just make them a haste buff and timer debuff. That's extremely boring!

I wish that Blizzard would make it a lot easier for people to be able to get into Mythic Plus dungeons, because right now you have to apply and hope you can get into a group but most of the time you get a lot of elitis jerks who won't let anyone in that is either not their friends or guild. It makes it impossible for people who just hit the max level to be able to get any experience and gear from those dungeons. I think Blizzard should make it so you can be put into que just like you do when you are doing the other types of dungeons, I had so much trouble getting into even Mythic Plus 0 runs because they say I don't have any experience on running them, but I tell them that I just hit the max level and trying to gain said experience and gear by running Mythic Plus.

That's why blizz reworked heroic dungeons and M0 last season. Challenging content needs to remain challenging, and this is a social game. If you want to get in m+, there are guilds and discord servers for people who are starting, and that's how you can get experience. If you want dungeon content with a queue, current heroic dungeons are the equivalent to what M0 was last season.

@@Vektor480 so you are telling me that it is alright for people to be rude and hateful to people who want to be to get into Mythic plus dungeon because blizzard reworked the heroic dungeons, there is no reason why people shouldn’t be able to join a mythic dungeon just because they don’t have the experience when they just hit the max level. I think it hurts the game when people are allowed to arrogant jerks to someone who wants to start running mythic dungeons so the can get the gear and experience. I am glad Blizzard reworked the heroic dungeons but what happens when someone wants to get into the higher keys and no group will let you join, having to apply to get into a dungeon group and being denied every single time can be both frustrating and hurt the person’s morale and how they look at the game

@@williamstrange6788 pretty big leap there to assume I'm endorsing anyone being rude and hateful. But if not accepting a fresh player into harder content is what you consider to be those things, I don't know what to tell you. No one has the obligation of taking a fresh player in the hardest form of content if they don't want to. If you're doing hard endgame content, open a queue for your key and in 10 seconds you get 30 dps applying, you'll take whoever has the highest rating/meta spec/all of that. It's your right to do so, nothing hateful with that. That's why I suggested looking into specific guilds and discords to find runs that are welcoming to new players. That's the kinda environment you want to learn with, not random queues as you suggest.

You literally get your own key that you can build your groups with. Its nobody's issue but your own that you don't want to make your own group. It really isn't hard. You can literally make a group that doesn't require experience and find people that will join. I've literally never in the history of wow have had any issue starting a group on a fresh season toon, even joining mid-season.

Mythic Plus should be put onto specific servers, same as PvP as it was in the good old days. How I miss that. Mythic Plus started the toxic atmosphere that exists today. 'Nuff said..!

Keep in mind that they're doing M+ changes because it's PROFITABLE from their pov. If it wasn't I bet this overhaul would never happened. That's for sure
