Newcastle United could make a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the January transfer window following Nick Pope's injury. Moreover, Ramsdale wouldn't be eligible to feature when the two sides meet at the Emirates in February.
Newcastle will return to Martin Dubravka until January, while free agent David de Gea has been mooted as a possibility.
