The magnetic inc wasn't needed until far into the 21 century when the old bills were becoming unusual to see in circulation.

Counterfit money is surprisingly easy to make. You don't even necessarily need the right paper, you just need to coat it so that the counterfit pens can't react to starch, and so it looks, feels and sounds like a real note.

Whenever I watch these I always learn something, and these are actually pretty entertaining while also learning but whenever my teacher puts on a video I never really like it.

Our store got hit by a counterfeit 100. It passed the marker check, and it wasn't until we took a closer look and saw the middle blue strip was tampered and not placed on the bill properly

Mark a real bill of any denomination before 1990 (or whenever they started printing them differently) and you may still get a darker gray or black streak. Using counterfeit markers or pens now a days can be tricky with older Bills.
