Micheal sharp who was the son of the man credited as being britians most difficult prisoner, Paul Sykes was jailed for life himself with a minimum term of 27 years and his three mates were part of a group of people that attempted to rob a former police officer. In January 0f 2008
A then 25 year old Michael sharp who is from queens drive, osset and his mate then 29 year old Ryan hill were given a key to former police officer turned car sales man David wards home by his own ex girlfriend who had helped set him up. Stacey foster. She told Michael Sharpe and Ryan David ward was known to keep £20k in a safe along with coke and other substances.
Stacey Forster was no longer going out with David ward but they were still friendly. Stacey had moved on to Michael after meeting at a club.
so Michael armed himself with a hammer, scredrivers, duster and other items. Michael and Ryan had been driven to the end terrace home by Christopher gill. Entered davids home through a cellar window after the key would not fit the door,
David ward was bound by legs and wrists and struck multiple time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Michael Sharp and Ryan hill were forced to leave the home with no money or gear. When arrested Michael Sharp denied all charges but was found guilty of m*rder
