Oberon s3 doesnt give 100% np dmg up, it boosts the np dmg up values of other buffs. Basically, his 30% np dmg up becomes 60%. This also works with ces, like "black grail", so you can get 220% with black grail and his s1 (60% from s1 + 160% from mlb black grail). Thats why you can get millions of damage with his s3. Thats my understanding of it anyway anyway

About the harder farming nodes recently (90++), I'd say they're created because Oberon. Having or not having him really make difference, the guy is insanely good. But who knows? New Year and LB7 Servants might be bonkers too.

You know this is why I dislike powercreep, everytime a new more broken servant comes out, theres a lot of outrage, but they always tell us to dont worry its not like they nerfed the servants that we already had, then some months down the line theres these new +++++ nodes that you can't do S%$#.

I rolled for him yesterday and was lucky enough to get him np2 without losing too much quartz I now comprehend the power this dude has after he put me in qp hell from leveling his skills and np append but considering that I'm now farming the penultimate wave in the Santa karna event with the knights using him, I'm so glad and good luck to anyone who is going to roll or will roll for him in the future

Congrats dude. This guy is so insane I'm waiting for him in NA. I just saw a video of Oberon replacing every one Koyanskaya/ Skadi/ Castoria in Double Loop Systems. I was planning on Castoria but after seeing that, Imma go Oberon. I have many premiere Loopers but no Support of my own.

Nah, not even close. He does amazing things sure, but you can't just run him. There's no servant that can 3 turn with just double Oberon like you can with double Skadi/Double Castoria/Double Koyan. He doesn't provide the nutty defense that Castoria does, and his demerits, while not ruining, do matter outside of farming. So sure the things he does only he does, but that is true of at least 2 of the three you mentioned (With Ruler Skadi having Normal Skadi do basically the same thing)

@@adrastos8401 I no longer care about looping. I can clear any stage with any team. All I care is about max dmg possible in one go and Oberon is irreplaceable.

I’m planning on getting Morgan, Koyan Light, and Oberon over the summer. I’m not sure how my Oberon rolls will go as I will probably only have enough quartz for 2 servant pities (already accept that I’ll have to hit pity for any limited SSR lol) and Oberon while he gets a rerun it’s like 2 years after his initial release if we’re not counting GSSRs.

Most of the great servants next year have reruns soon after except Oberon so if you can be patient, you should get Oberon first then summon the other servants. He's arguably the most important servant for post 7th anniversary meta.

@@kingslaxI know it's blasphemy, but I am planning to skip Muramasa. There are better servants that does what he does, he's good and he's Shirou but in term of best use of SQ to improve the box, he's not top tier.

There's also a setting to turn this off, and it just shows his 3rd ascension. If you don't know his story though and don't want to be spoiled though keep it off and he'll just keep his 2nd ascension look

@@kristianschuff1723 I think he's rated really highly because he allows AOE buster servants without 50% battery to 3-turn and allows people to 3-turn 90++ nodes as well

This pretty much tells me you either are an NA exclusive or you have not touched a single 90++ node on JP. lmao Oberon is just in everything nowadays, and he’s the primary goal for everyone who missed out on him. Arcueid doesn't break the game in any way, she allows more versatile team comps but that's all. The ones that really break the game are Koyansakya Light with buster looping and Oberon with easier, higher damage ceiling
