Oh Yes, I am so in agreement with you on this, I have all of my game CD's/DVD's and any install (downloaded) files saved to HD (and SD cards). Also, all of my films and series are on physical DVD's (4 full size cabinets full of them!). Online courses are just as bad, bad 6 and a half grand for a course 7 years ago, thankfully I was able to download MP4's of the course but the manual was pdf and had to be printed out by me(!), all 480 pages of it! Sony are bang out of order on this and it sucks, and Amazon are just as guilty.

It really does matter and I love the resurgence! Great topic- and important!
