Definately visit. I was there as a young guy shortly after the cold war ended. I really want to go there again, and see how much at has changed in these 3 decades.

All that you mentioned where the main reasons for me to move to Poland (from Holland) 14 years ago.. and i love it from day 1.

14 years ago Poland was a quite different country. Racism was much more common. Since then Poles have travelled a lot, worked, and are still working with blacks, often share the same house, and bbq together. What I mean, it's easy to call n word someone you don't know, much harder when your close friend is black. Besides a lot of Africans studying, and working in Poland. I'm from Lublin, it's easy to spot black people on the streets here, yet it's probably one of the safest city in Poland.

Oh yeah I remember holland - netherlands very well, your people mocked me for being polish / coming from "poor" country, yelling "gotverdome pools" ahh great experience, that's why whenever I hear dutch here in the USA I always go with "why don't you F off to your country kasskop huh ?"

When I was in Poznań in Sielanka with goods for sale, I met a black guy there who was eating a hotdog and looked like you, and I don't know if it's a coincidence that I didn't see you then?...

I respect your channel, but for me, it's a bit strange when someone describes and evaluates a place where one of the variables is skin color.
@Rene_Moor3095
@Rene_Moor3095 12 күн бұрын
Throughout the world, the variable is skin colour - because if people with dark skin colour commit crimes in a place then the community could be sceptical in that place. In Poland, the police will not treat you as a criminal just because you have a dark skin colour, while in the USA, UK or France they do. In Poland, because of what the country experienced during the First World War, the Second World War and the communist regime, people with black skin are rare and that is why people (especially older people in smaller towns) will glance at such people. In some countries in Africa, a person with white skin colour evokes the same interest and surprise. He had a good experience in Poland and has a different opinion than you because he has simply been to Poland and has his own experience. Anyone who is open-minded does not think in terms of stereotypes and respects the rules of the local people, the language and the culture is welcome in Poland. Idiots who are racists are everywhere and it is not always because of racism, but because of a different culture, a different history of local people or simply the fear of strangers, because in a certain place, foreigners committed crimes or did not respect the local culture. Every extremism is bad and you too think in patterns and you are an extremist - you don't know Polish history, but of stereotypes and fear, fear blocks you and you generalise and criticise even though you don't know anything. If you don't know the country and history of a country, culture then don't make any statements about it.

" it's a bit strange when someone describes and evaluates a place where one of the variables is skin color.". Well, show me a place in the world, where it isn't. Scandinavian guy here, and in China people were also curious about me (wanting to take photos with me...and even more with my mixed kids etc). So I guess it is pretty much universal.

Poland will soon become dangerous because of illegal immigrants from Africa and the Middle East, on the one hand Russia is sending us through Belarus, on the other hand Germany and partly France, for Poles it reminds us of 1939, except that today it is called hybrid war, I know my nation, it will be bloody, so as long as you can visit safe Poland, enjoy it, I wish you beautiful memories from Poland

In Poland’s case it’s a hybrid war. People who are coming as illegal immigrant are mix of Russian Wagner group and people who want to better their situation. Those 2nd ones speak fluent English and French, and want to travel to Germany, France and the UK. The way those Western European countries treat their ex(or sometimes not ex) colonies is appealing, so I can’t blame them for trying to have a better life. They don’t know yet that they will never be accepted by those societies and will be locked in ghettos. It’s a hard lesson they will learn once they arrive to their destinations.

@@natalias50 If they know foreign languages, why don't they come legally, after all, they should be able to read what and how???, if they do it illegally, using forged documents or documents that are not their own and provide false data, then they are bandits, knowledge of foreign languages is not a determinant
