1709 is not when incident with Ranrok happened, it's when breeding dragons was outlawed, and by extension, most dragon camps were made illegal.

to be fair, we're not sure how long Goblins live compared to humans, and yeah I think the precise date of this part is definitely up in the air.

@@AttackonDragons Well, we can have a rough estimation, given how Bragbor seems to be quite a removed relative to Ranrok and Lodgok. At least further than a grandfather. I do, however, humor the thought oftentimes that we don't really see any definitively young goblins to figure out how aging works on them, and Ranrok could very much be an edgy teenager.
