Those who think Kirinyagians are not Kikuyus are the narrow minds from the mountain. Kiambians, Nyerians, Murang'ians and Nyandaruans are all one Kikuyu tribe with a diffrent dialect each. The kirinyaga dialect sounds abit extreme where some regard them not any better than a child trying to talk in kikuyu. They forget their forefathers regarded Kirinyaga as their very home, their very own God given mountain. Infact the name Kenya means Kirinyaga. The same Kirinyaga county has been leading the nation in education performance for many years, untill some leaders got offended and some benighted conclusions were made that the performance will no longer be graded as per performance of the counties! The kirinyaga county produces education giants and there were so many who were not recognised because they were not able to pursue on education due to financial challanges. On top of that women from the Kirinyaga county take the lead on dressing elegantly. Unfortunately we have some few who dress carelessly as seen with some unfortunate women leaders who like exposing their thighs. These narrow minds do not represent the spirit of Kirinyaga wise ladies whose way of dressing largely command respect countrywide and beyond.
