Small pro tips about Saryn: Her 1 will only spread from the initial enemy it’s casted on. The enemies that it gets spread to won’t spread spores when they die (it’s to prevent an endless loop but you can get around this See below) Her 3 synergism’s with her 1 by instantly spreading your spores to multiple enemies Her 4 also synergism’s with her 1 in that it also makes all enemies currently infected by her spores able to spread them (as if you initiallly casted it on them) Basically think of it as Hosts and Carriers. Hosts can spread spores, carriers can’t. So spread your spores and then cast your 4 every so often to maintain enough hosts to keep the constantly spreading like a god awful plague upon the earth or space or whatever

Honestly Saryn can deal with most factions fairly easily (corrosive for grineer/infested, viral for corrupted units, toxin for corpus, and if you add breach surge for CC and radiation she can deal with high armored units very well). Ash is also really good! True damage to all factions, insane slash procs and if you prime viral or Heat you get tons of damage! Plus add in invisibility for survivability, you are practically immortal.

I found subsuming Shooting Gallery or Silence helps squishy frames a lot in terms of survivability, especially those frames that usually mod for some range

@@WarframeFlo Gloom on Saryn is hilarious. Because with how gloom works on the build enemies have to hit you for your total EHP in order to kill you. And because of shieldgating they have to do it twice. Cause every tick of spores basically full heals you 😂 Tank Saryn shenanigans

If a beginner is watching this, then i dont suggest investing into saryn that much. She’s good and all but its hard to utilize her kit and there are other warframes that can do whatever saryn does but easier to build and to use. The only time i use saryn is when i feel like doing steel path corpus survival. I use the sobek saryn build shown in the video. The only change for me is that i also use her 3rd ability augment and i subsume her 4 for nourish which is not necessary but feels better than xata’s whisper cuz nourish gives more energy as well. I also mod the sobek for magnetic toxin to delete corpus easily.

saryn does help, but a good weapon balance out most warframes as well😅. and venom dose saryn can be pretty usefull early. and miasma bomb saryn allows easy ranking of weapons speedingly. also saryn and saryn prime stat for strength caps at ruffly 300%. no matter how you reach it and puting it more will make abilities stop doing damage btw. so better split some into duration that will help more to press less the buff buttons. also the abilities damage scales to some degree but even then caps on enemies at ruffly level 145 and will not increasee higher after that thats why venom dose in handy to buff you weapon damage and use miasma as a stun bomb with spores as a slow tick support. also spores are line of sight limited what means they can only spread within line of sight!

I need a Warframe that can literally do any and all things I'm currently using zephyr because zepha can literally do any and all things thanks to the helminth system (I use the mirrors for general defense and a use xatus whisper to buff myself for everything else, I do want to try some of the other frames though is just if I can't do any and all things with then I'll be less interested like I really like Excalibur's deluxe skin but Excalibur can't do any and all things No real defensive tools and that's a problem for me)

Little over 30% of my Warframe playtime is on Saryn. Now, I'm not a meta player, I mostly enjoy doing normal long survivals and disruptions. That said, my favorite build is Arcane rage and vengeance Rifle amp aura Triple umbral and adaptation, flow (or primed), that mod that converts damage taken to energy (the set one) - these are the essentials Rest in range mods Subsume Gloom in Molt slot Equip your favorite primary weapon, play the game like a shooter. I mean, not likely to kill over lvl 1000 enemies but it's good for steel path. I mainly use a soma prime with hunter munitions and viral and can absolutely melt anything up to lvl 300. Does struggle with damage reduction enemies such as void angels and archons but it's not impossible or even hard, just annoying. And I'm in the process of slotting all blue armor shards, just came back to it after leaving the game just before the new war.

@Jesse Benjamin Alvarez haha, yeah. I like it simple. When I started playing Warframe it was a satisfying shooter with just the right splash of space ninja. Nowadays you have to press way too many buttons for the same amount of satisfaction.

Everyone here comparing volt and saryn. Look, volt is king when there is a lot of enemies. If theres like 3 enemies he's practically worthless. Here's how his 4 works. The lightning will arc between enemies, the more enemies there are the more times there is arcing. If it's like 1 or 3 guys nearby they just arc and it dies out. If there's a lot it continues to arc, even onto ones who spawn in. Saryn's spores can continue to spread as long as you occassionaly hit 4 and it doesn't matter if it's 1 or 4, there's just a little more work involved.

Volt works in eso but not solo imo. Saryn much better for solo as volt struggles Vs armor.

Not really. Volt is gonna be better if you need to stay moving a lot, but Saryn's damage scales infinitely.

there is no difference that matters between primes and non primes, if you like the way the prime looks then get it otherwise you dont need it. although if you plan on subsuming saryn then mightaswell get the prime.

@Jeremia Noel there's no difference that matters. The Base stats are irrelevant, and the extra polarity is also irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Is it nice, yes....does it actually matter no.

@@jeremianoel3461 Build wise, prime and non prime are going to dish out the same output damage and they are going to serve the same functionality. Speaking of quality of life, the only thing that makes a prime worth more is starting with some extra polarities, some REALLY minor stats up, which don't matter, and the fact that prime version can't be subsumed on helminth also makes up for how much easy they are to farm through relics. So also farming and crafting primes is really really cheap. Since you're going to master both versions, it's ofc better to build the prime since It can't be subsumed and then use the base version in the helminth once leveled out.

The "extra base polarities" argument is probably the worst I've read since Forma can just do the same thing. Garuda and Volt probably gain the most from Prime stats. Otherwise it's pretty much for vanity/mastery. If you enjoy the look then go for it!

Any primed Warframe mod nowadays can be easily replaced with like archon mod and mby possibly if it was barely holding together already an extra forma Plus extra lil dot of corrosive on toxic lash never hurt nobody idk, isnt much but max reduction from corrosive since 5th instance of damage not 10th, although who cares, i did a few sp missions once with an unmodded gammacor for the test, takes a bit of time but like bad magnetic gun without a single mod can do big chunky grineer hey So yez u need saryn me approve and u actually don't have to care about the primed flow or continuity when we have easily accessible counterparts

I still think Saryn is overrated and not fantastically good for most game modes. However, I will concede that Saryn is top 3 for ESO and decent in other situations that let you patrol a moderate size area for an extended period. Not great for maps where you are just moving from beginning to end. Not great against bosses, liches, sisters, archons, etc. Saryn has survivability issues without helminth. I see a lot of 45% efficiency builds for Saryn, and I just don't see how they are supposed to work. Even with 100-130% efficiency energy isn't exactly abundant.

Saryn's purpose is to be infinite AOE damage. Anywhere that that is good, Saryn is also good.

@@Helzakath Man, I have tried. Just about every time I see a new build or video or tier list that shows her at S-tier I give it another go. I can do so much more on probably 1/3 of the other frames. I just cannot seem to put all the pieces together.

@@DrewBoivie I was just joking really, but funnily enough, I am actually a Saryn main. I have 2 Saryn Primes because I needed different polarities for 2 completely different builds for 2 completely different things. And funnily enough they both have 45% efficiency, and the reason on each build is completely different, but it might be worth noting that I do use Zenurik, but I don't use Arcane Energize, (Primed) Flow, Rage/Hunter Adrenaline etc.. For the non-Steel Path build, which focuses on range and duration for Spores more than anything else, efficiency isn't needing because casting Spores while it is active costs half as much, Toxic Lash lasts quite a while, and you're killing things in such a huge area that energy orbs are usually everywhere. For the Steel Path build, which focuses on strength and duration more than anything else, efficiency isn't needed because the abilities I use are active for over a minute (and one of them ends up being free every time because of Inner Might), that's more than enough time for me to refill my energy and re-cast them as I'm melting enemies at such a high rate that there's just energy orbs everywhere, and when it's a mission with a low volume of enemies I use Wellspring. If I wasn't using Zenurik I would have to consider using Arcane Energize.

@@Helzakath I'm interested in how you would handle a map like the exterminate on Zariman (Halako) in Steel Path. The combination of fairly dispersed enemy density, not uncommon tanky enemies, and needing to cover a lot of ground make it a challenge for Saryn I've found.

I’ll never understand why people farm focus directly, you’re capped at like 300k every day, farming eidolons you can get like upwards of 500k a night and using eidolon shards doesn’t count towards your daily cap, only time I’ve ever actually went and farmed focus directly is if I was just short like 100k after the night ended to get another unlock

She's not the best. Beginners, do not rush to buy it. First look at all possible options, and then buy what you like) Yes, she is good, but she is not stronger than others. In a warframe, any character can destroy 9999 levels.)
