Ayanna Gregory is the daughter of freedom fighter, comedian and nutritionist Dick Gregory. In this second 1/2 of my conversation with Ayanna we dive deeper into her experience and affiliation with #Jamaica. We also get into her plans of purchasing land here in Jamaica and eventually moving here. Ayanna volunteers much of her time to the children of Jamaica while she is here. She is a great asset to the island and it was an honor to interview her.

Wow! Thank both of you, Ayanna Gregory and Throp, for sharing this video! God sent me here to watch this video this evening. Ayanna's story about her dad dry-fasting for two weeks starting 13:50 aligns to the health message of a "breatharian" man named Elitom El-Amin. He says he is nourished by the Earth's atmosphere, or air, and the Sun. Elitom El-Amin practices dry-fasting for long periods of time to heal and maintain optimal health.

Hey Throp, I am new to your channel, few weeks in. Your content is very informative and is a very useful repository for folks interested in the happenings in Jamaica. Having lived in the U.S. for roughly 50 years and is considering reestablishing roots in Jamaica, I am intrigued by the stories of the folks who have made the transition. I have also noticed that most of the stories involve women who have made the transition. I am curious to hear your take as to why this appears to be the trend and why a similar trend does not appear to be occurring with men.

Just listened to part 2. I recently bought a beautiful vacation home very close to Negril. The irony is that I was staying at the said Travellers Hotel for most of December 2020 during the initial stages of the purchase. Had a couple interactions with #imayannagregory but absolutely nothing as informative and profound as this interview. Undoubtedly she has the ability to easily tone down her vast reservoir of knowledge and experience and chit chat at any level.

@@Throp Indeed! We do plan to revisit Travellers Hotel from time to time and spend a couple days regardless of the fact that we have a home nearby. I totally enjoyed playing dominoes with your dad. My wife and I loved the occasional interactions we had with some members of the Wellington family including you. T'was our best hotel stay in Negril and we have certainly been to a few of them.

It frustrates me when people say the same to me when I tell them I going somewhere on vacation alone. Them "Who you going with? Why you going there?" "You have a man there?". It's always women asking. I realized they are expressing their phobias of themselves.

Throp, I deleted my comment because I respect your father's philanthropic endeavors and not wish to bring negative to your channel. But I also know your father would be highly appreciative of the opportunity he was given in his early life in the US, to now affect positively in his homeland. United States for all its misgivings, is a true land of opportunity and the overall bashing needs to be toned down (biting the hands that feeds you). Bless
