I’m with you! In the morning-coffee, small açaí , and a walk. Early afternoon-Beer flight and fish sandwich. Followed up with kayaking then appetizers and mai tais.

Thanks for the video on shelter island .It looked real nice and a little escape from San Diego. I'm glad you went out on your fishing boat trip. And you caught a few fish. I almost went on a charter fishing boat with my late father, when I was a teenager, yet it was canceled. My father took us out fishing in his boats usually here in the Summer, when we were kids. We had lots of fun except if the weather cold, or the ocean rough.

Jaycation I worked at the Kona Kai for 2.5 days before being furloughed. The Kona Kai has 2 pools one for adults and the main/family pool in the video.

Hey Jay, Just found your channel...have lived in SD all my life but am enjoying your channel and doing all the leg work going to places in SD. Enjoy you headlining new places to eat. Just saw your video about HMart. I go to the Japanese grocery stores since I am part Japanese as well as shopped at Zion Market and eat at their food court. Today we are heading off to HMart to check it out. Grew up going to the Bali Hai...remember the old days when they had luaus on the weekends. Those were the good old days. It's a beautiful place for dinner or an event. Great food too! That dessert looked fantastic. Love your upbeat personality and am enjoying watching your videos. You' re doing a wonderful job on the hospitality for SD. How could people not want to come visit the best city in the USA. I've subscribed and will keep watching what you recommend in SD!

Nice work as always, Jay! As a side note, I just landed in Barcelona yesterday afternoon. We are staying in the marina area, but walked up La Rambla to Ciutat Comal for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and service, but especially the food! Thank you 🙏🏼 very much for the recommendation from one of your videos earlier this year!

Whenever I stay in San Diego I make sure I am close to shelter island! Humphreys is a beautiful resort and the cover bands they have at Humphreys backstage are awesome. Make sure to have the famous Mai Tai at Bali Hai that thing is crazy strong. Half price apps at the Bali Hai are a great deal too. Fiddlers Green and Ketch grill and taps were also great on Shelter Island. Truly a gem!

Great content😂!🥰 💕Raised most of my life in San Diego n I think I’ve only been to Shelter island a small handful of times to eat @Bali Hai’s (can’t believe it’s still open) n also to spend QT with family luau on shore.😍 How is it U Filipino brah n it’s your first fishing excursion? Lols😊
