So if it was base on your clothes then you definitely say the men were questionable in those times. Modesty is for both male and female. When you have a true relationship with our Most High you will definitely have his convictions.

When i was being drawn to Christ, I searched for women who wore long skirts/dresses going to church on Saturday so that I would attend to their church. Was well convinced Sunday is not the day of worship n so since I couldn't locate the church, I decided to look for them that wore modestly

Believe it or not, in our romanian church , wearing a tie with your suit is considered pride, and inappropriate. Also women have to cover their heads and wear only skirts or dresses. Maybe is just our culture 🤷🏼‍♀️

I like how he incorporated modesty relating to all attire and grooming. Women are not to dress like men, and are to be modest and unadorned. According to these guidelines we can choose a dress, or pants depending on the weather.

This is interesting but i think overkill. a person can literally drive themselves insane overthinking etc about what to wear. Im over 70 and i get plenty of nice comments about what i wear to work, to church, to tennis etc. DONT think anyone has ever viewed me as a hooker, a tart, etc. I wear makeup, do my hair, wear jewelry and nice clothes, but i dont overdo anything. Esther and Rebekka of the Bible wore makeup, jewelry and fine clothes, and fine clothes in the Bible was greatly valued and taken as booty by the Israelites from their captors/enemies as well as jewelry, silver, gold, etc. I notice these guys are dressed in fine clothes, but rarely do guys get their Godliness value associated with their clothes, like women do. Let your modesty be known. But modesty doesnt have to mean looking like a house frau, or a farm hand, as many expect the women to dress like. I notice these guys are not wearing bib overalls to church, hmmm....

I am always amazed that this topic is very often presented by men. I wonder why. Any clue ?

I was told that if i didnt wear dresses that i may loose my salvation. I have had issues with the wind while wearing a dress and all modesty blew away and embare ass ment took its place. I wear pants as i work much better in them and i am warmer and feel more covered and comfortable. If God destroys me for this i will never understand and i know God is not like that.
