Its all relative, in the 1960's you could buy a gallon of gas with a silver quarter, that same silver quarter pre 1964 is worth 1.5 gallons of gas today, So precious metals are the hedge against inflation and a store of wealth.

You know "why silver" Andy. It's the only realistic challenge to fiat currencies due to it's abundance. Silver will become money again albeit for a short time but, it will.

Yes a lot of middle class people who put their hard earned money into stacking silver are feeling a little poor because the premiums have put them behind the 8 ball. Even if you bought 10 years ago at spot you would be breaking even or worst. Silver has not kept up with inflation or the economy. Gold has done somewhat well in the last 10 years but in 2011 it was 1900$. Gold is wealth preservation over a life time not short time.

Silver is definitely the most undervalued asset today. IT will continue to be undervalued because of the derivative market and the short selling. Sadly it may be years before the metal has its day in the sun.

Don’t get me wrong, I love silver and have lots of it, but I don’t think Silver follows inflation at all. The market is so manipulated. Look at gas, food, commodities, they’re all doubled or tripled in price over the last 2 years and silver has been about the same.

Easy answer to that. I used to walk into the bullion store and buy an ounce or two of gold. I would take as much of my 'change' in silver dollars. Over the decades, have all the gold I wanted to buy....and a huge stash of silver.

Silver is suppressed for the very reason Andy is saying. I believe the military industrial complex and large tech companies who use silver for cars and electronics are guaranteed keeping prices down through the derivative markets. It is in their best interest to keep the commodity cheap. Hold silver for the poop hit the fan scenario and pray that day doesn’t come in your life time.

Mines to are paid off!! I got lucky and married into some people that tell the truth!! Their fourth generation silver miners. Got every ounce they can mine on a contract for 100 years. Tell me there is that many years silver in the ground and more!! Built in Inflation, fuel, equipment, labor costs, every mining cost adjustments imaginable in every contract!! 🤷‍♂️😂😂

There is no way that there is that much silver in any warhead even in obsolete hardware like the Tomahawk. The US military dropped silver as a strategic metal over half a century ago and for very good reasons. They don't need or use that much of it.
