Hi Ahsan, thanks for the video. Could let us know how to tax return once the master studies are completed and the visa have been changed to Blue card. Is there a possible way to apply for tax return once the master program have been completed. Share your information about it. Thank you.

There shouldn't be a problem in filing as a student for the years in which you were a Masters student. Just remember you can only submit up to 4 years in the past. Checkout my latest video for some additional tips

Hi Ahsan, Thanks for the video. I am preparing my tax return for 2019 where I paid 88 Euros as tax as a working student because of two jobs and working hours specified in the contract. but i earned around 6500 only which is less than Grundbeitrag .If I can show expenses over 1000 Euros is it possible that there is a carry forward or will i get only 88 Euros which I paid as tax in 2019?

Hi Ahsan, I am a student & currently I am doing full time time job on my semester break. Last month my brutto was €2100 and my tax was €150 & Social Security €452. My tax class is 1, so as a student I also have to pay social security and taxes? Note: I didn't cross the early income limit yet. I am really confused, it's okay or did they make any mistake.

Depending on your salary, you have to pay taxes and social contributions. You can apply for a tax return the following year where you can claim the complete income tax back or part of it depending on your expenses and oveall salary. But as I mentioned in the video, social contributions are not taxes and you will not get those back

I watch your videos regularly and plan to apply for a tax return. However, are you claiming the remittance money in the tax return? If so, then which app do you use?

Im a doctor came to germany in 2022. Until I passed the necessary exams and got my university degree recognized I was a Praktikant in a German Hospital. I started working in March 2023. In what category should I file my taxes for 2022? Like what can I deduce?
@ahsanfinance

For 2022, you should file as a Student. As far as deductions go you can deduct all study and work related expenses. Here is a video that might help: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rM6Gdbmkx8m8eqM.html

Hi Ahsan, I have a question. Currently i am using a very old laptop and now i am planning to buy the Macbook Air for my studies. My question is that, i have few family and friends who are living in the USA. So if i buy the laptop from the USA using my German Credit card will i be able to show under study expense?
@ahsanfinance
@ahsanfinance Жыл бұрын
I am not 100% sure if this would be accepted. But one thing I can say with certainty, you would have to pay import duty on the Macbook air if you import it from the US.

@@ahsanfinance I know people who are coming from the USA. Thats is why i wanted to keep this as an option.
@ahsanfinance
@ahsanfinance Жыл бұрын
Even if your friends bring the new MacBook they would have to declare it and pay customs duty. If they don't declare it, you may have to pay the duty once you put it in the tax return. So overall the effort wont be worth it.
