All of my thoughts on the game are just speculation based off what I played in the alpha and the information Rocksteady has given us. Whether the game is good or bad we’ll have to wait and see 🙂

This was a great video! I agree Rocksteady has earned at least patience to see what they can do. Most games like this release with a MVP(minimal viable product) mentality. This means they release the base engine and features and wait for feedback to improve and enhance consistently. I liked you pointing out they already have a year of content planned which means they have a healthy backlog of improvement already planned before receiving community feedback! This will allow them to improve it quickly and prioritize pre planned content vs organic feedback and have consistent updates! I think ppl don’t realize what a massive amount of development goes into unique character traits and skills alone to create truly unique fighting styles and character design! It’s the equivalent of ppl saying “NBA non starters are garbage!” But, they made it to the NBA that only has 400 active players at any given time in the whole WORLD!

No it’s have. It’s a live service. If it’s a good one then it’s constantly evolving. Reception could change in a month.

@@MrProdigy810it ain't the live service aspect that is the problem with it,,, long story short,they pretty much crap all over arkham batman and the male justice league members (ww doesn't get it qs bad,gee wonder why?,,,) But as the details came out,i knew the fandoms were gonna go HARD on wb/rocksteady/sweet baby inc. for this and it is completely thier own fault

@@omegamark9178 that’d be a story issue. Story is a very small portion of a looter shooter. And I thought the characters were very well done, design and acting wise, so you must mean gameplay wise. The gameplay loop is the problem. So is boss design. It’s all so basic. But it can be enhanced down the line.

100 percent agree the problem with most live service games is not necessarily the game it self but no content in the end game, this game is incredibly fun to play and it has a good content roadmap for the first year.

It has 3 enemy types, a handful of repetitive tasks you do through the 10 hour playtime, dull boss fights that have no challenge or interesting mechanics and annoying characters who throw quips out constantly. But yes this is a fun game and roadmap !!!!! Yay for live service garbage. People like you eating this shite up means we get more of this tripe.

Yeah I have been seeing this game get a good bit of hate online. I guess once it fully releases we’ll see, but my guess is similar to you. I don’t think it will be as hated once it’s out. Definitely think it’ll fine a nice niche/player base.

I bought the game and went in with so much negativity from all the hate on youtube but im absolutely loving it. it has a one real problem which is the traversal system but other than that its a lot of fun and im having a blast playing it. If you compare it to arkam knight and all other batman games you are going to be disappointed which is truly unrealistic. Play the game before hating on every single issue. 8/10 rating for me

enemies are bad, UI is bad, monetization scheme is incredible greedy, story is meh - has the potential to be nothing more then a mediocre game with some people enjoying it and thinking is GOTY - some played, enjoyed and thought avengers was great and GOTY material

There’s literally no problem in the game that can’t be fixed except maybe the “Meh” story which is never really the point of a looter shooter anyway. They can make better stories. Everything else can be corrected. Lacking mission and enemy variety? Put more in there. Monetization bad? Lower the prices. UI too much? Change it in the settings. It’s not a great game but it is not bad. Almost every looter shooter started out this way. That’s just the sad nature of the beast at this point. Only ones that didn’t are sequels. And they all get better when given the chance and dedication from the team. So yes the game still has plenty of potential.
