Thats kind of why I out right _don't_ like Open Fortress or TF2 Classic. They both have my respect, but they can't replicate the "Magic" TF2 has. The Merc of OF is NO WHERE near as endearing as the Original 9, (And just comes off as a "Faceless Nobody"), And whilst I applaud TF2C for keeping it vanilla/sticking with the Classic Artstyle, it just feels like a Diet Coke version of TF2.

This video is really special to me. I grew up with tf2 and while so many things in life change and evolve, tf2 has always been this steady rock of a game to call home. I grew up with Muselk’s videos as well and still have such fond memories of every tryhard tuesday, so to see him remember and remind us all how special this game is brought a tear to my eye. Thank you Muselk and TF2 for all of the good times, and for more good times for years to come!

Seeing this game still kicking about and people are returning back to it, despite its difficulties over the years is just mindblowing. The community might have its bad apples, but people can't deny the fact that it's one of the most passionate. Overall, this was a very heartwarming video, and I'm glad to know that you still get enjoyment out of the game. Thank you.

I don’t think valve deserves content creators to promote their game anymore when they abandoned it … they make money from that game on the community market but refuse to remove bots and cheaters and update bugs
@Solico-rf6rq6 ай бұрын
@@bobjamaica9045Valve probably (but likely) makes more money off Dota 2 and CS2 thus making them more profitable to update, hence why they don’t even bother making singleplayer games anymore once in a blue moon. I don’t really blame them because they only make a game when they have new innovation and tech, as opposed to releasing just because they need the money. However they can’t really innovate in TF2 because the code is like tangled wires and makes a fraction of the revenue. This is just my theory anyway.

Hi, wanted to say you making this video was really nice. I watched your content as a kid, and would tune in every week for Tryhard Tuesdays(/Wednesdays). I cannot remember any in-jokes about it anymore, but, I assure you, I was there. Watching your content inspired me to hop into the game more often and become a better rocket jumper. I wanted to be, as my eyes saw you as a middle school/early high school kid, a Legendary Trolldier God. I never put TF2 down (for long) after that. I am not a Legendary Trolldier God nowadays, but I can clear a tier 5 jump map given 20 or 30 minutes depending on how caffeinated I am at the time. I do appreciate the bringing up your transition from TF2 to Overwatch, and the community response to that shift. While at the time I also slipped into the Overwatch bubble, I do remember feeling that "traitor" feeling that was mentioned. I was no better, obviously. Early Overwatch was unironically a blast. However, a lot of people had the perception that you didn't quite appreciate what TF2 did for you, being a launchpad to your career. It is nice to have this dedicated piece showing that you really do appreciate the TF2 community as it stands and what it has done for you, and all of us really. Keep doing your best, and have a good one.

I remember when you first started playing OW, and seeing everyone's reaction, it made me kinda sad seeing it. I kept watching your videos when you made fortnite videos (Not OW I wasn't into the game at that time) and understood that as a content creator there just wasn't much more for you to cover in TF2. You had been making videos on it for so long, and I just want to say that I really appreciate the effort you put into the community!

I've played tf2 for 1k hours when i was going to highschool in 2014-2016 and it was pure fun! Especially, cosmetics and taunts make this game more fun. I can remember how i was having fun in the deathrun and saxton hale servers.

Known TF2 because of my man Muscle K here. Watched all of your vids from Spy trick stabs to Rocket Jumping antics. Loved the game and still do. And I'm glad that the legend is back at it

You would not believe how happy I was to see the Elmaxo video with you. I remember when you moved on from TF2. I was sad, but I knew it had to happen. I'm... glad there's one final conclusion to this.

this was awesome to see, i remember first subbing to you all the way back when you had a couple thousand subs and its crazy to see how far you've come! I will admit I was one of the people who was upset when you moved on from tf2 but its clear that it was the right move for you and that as time has gone on valve has paid less & less attention to tf2 its meant it would have been super difficult for you to grow as a youtuber. glad to see you still enjoy the game :^)

I didn't expect a video like this from this channel but I loved it. I hope you do more scripted content, even if it's not about tf2.

I was like 14 when I started watching your content. Although I have since grown out of the style of your content, I still hold respect for you. I remember being quite sad and actually upset at you when you moved on from TF2 but I can see your point of view nowadays. Call it burnout, content block, whatever; I respect the fact that you stopped when you didn't want to make TF2 content anymore. More so I respect the fact that even though the vast majority of your fanbase back then were TF2 players, you still took your chances and taking those risks paid off greatly. You reached success twice and that is something very inspiring.
