I definitely believe that Thanos was keeping an eye on Asgard, when Loki fell from the yggdrasil, Thanos immediately captured him and brought him to sanctuary where he tortured him and made him his puppet so he could conquer earth on his command which would cause troubles on Asgard.

Real reason: Marvel had no idea what to do with Thanos until Avengers 3 where they had to fully use him.

I know Marvel didn’t have the cinematic rights to the Fantastic Four in 2012, but it would’ve been awesome to watch them fight alongside the Avengers against the Chitari

I still have hope, not an expectation. That maybe we find out they did actually help. We just didn't see it. They were dealing with an aspect of Thanos we didn't see on screen or that our heroes even knew about. Like, if it weren't for the FF doing what they did behind the scenes it could have turned out even worse or something they did helped.

People keep on saying that Thanos was scared of Asgard, but didn't Hela take out like 95% of their army as well as four of their strongest fighters singlehandedly? Wouldn't it be better to say that he was more scared of Odis and opposed to the Asgardian army?

True but bef9re hella invaded back then it wasnt just odin. There was freya the queen of azgard who was also the goddes of magic, so who knows what damage she could have wroth.

I agree with your Wise theory about this issue. I also have my own theory to add to yours. Thanos was on his way to get Ronin for the power stone for double crossing him. He got the stone after the Guardians gave it up. Then thanos went to find Loki for double crossing him which is why he caught them leaving Asgard during Ragnarok. Plus Thanos was in love with Hela who was also in Asgard. He knew where 2 stones and backstabbers were and he got his stones and revenge on 1 of his X allies.

Odin had no way to get to Earth, or anywhere else. The Bifrost was destroyed, Loki even remarks that Odin needed to "move around dark matter" to send Thor to Earth and that he couldn't return without the Tesseract. In Thor: The Dark World he says the Nine Realms were in chaos because without the Bifrost Asgard couldn't protect them. Asgard was essentially cut off from the rest of the galaxy so they couldn't help Earth, or stop Thanos or anyone from threatening anyone.

Odin had Gungnir, (the spear Thor used against Hela in Ragnorok) he could summon the Bifrost whenever he wanted tom

@@crispybacon3664 If the spear could do that why didn't he send Thor to Earth that way in the Avengers? After the first Thor the Bifrost was destroyed and they all sounded like they were stuck on Asgard.

Also there were 2 infinity stones on earth, so thanos sending loki could draw out earth's heros and it did. And he witnessed Tony defeat his whole army. That's how he knew of him in infinity war.

i don't think it's that complicated. Thanos had a lot on his plate and he probably sent heralds to every place that he needed conquering or whatever. he did the same with midgard and realized that it was time to get in the battles himself. It's not like he would've known much about midgard as all, the place is pretty disconnected from all the other realms.+

I believe that Thanos knew how he was going to manipulate all the Avengers to get the best results in his favor. Infinity War Thanos is much more knowledgeable hence how he knew to get all the stones and how to use them without a manual and Endgame Thanos was more battle ready. I'm thinking that we should see a fight between Nova and Thanos wrecking him for the first stone.

General consensus is Thanos never invoked the Power Stone in his fight with Hulk. It was in his possession but he never activated it. The writers needed something to quickly show the audience just how physically formidable Thanos really is. What better way to do that then to nerf Hulk and watch Thanos mop him in 30 seconds flat? Lol

This is why Marvel/Russos made Hulk less powerful. I'm not an expert on Hulk comics but based on the bit I do know Hulk would absolutely obliterate Thanos in alot of cases. And most villains. Not every case. But it's always been a Hulk issue. He's to damn OP. So, they had to do something to make Hulk less OP.

@@ryancallsin Hulk is not a trained fighter. You have brute strength user vs trained fighter. We saw that training can be useful against Hulk. Thanos dodged and struck weak points, then went for the KO, which made Hulk feel fear and refuse to come out. If the Avengers trained Hulk to be a fighter just like Steve, then Thanos would have met his match there and it would have been one hell of a fight, one that would have seen a round 2 in Endgame. But, they chose to nerf Hulk instead.

@@theautisticcreative2619 yeah, Hulk's punches were "swing for the fences" type of punches. He didn't know how to fight whatsoever, he was just trying to crush Thanos, and that didn't work. Thanos recovered from the shock of the surprise attack, and then proceeded to take apart the Hulk. I mean what did Hulk think when he started choking Thanos. Did he really think he was gonna choke Thanos to death?? Lol

Thanos and his army would have easily taken Odin and Asgard......I believe this and even Russos said that......Thanos was already the most powerful person in the universe.....he was just bargaining with people like Loki and Ronan for the stone because he doesn't care if a planet gets destroyed in pursue of that and he didn't wanted the bigger entities of the universe to know about his plan..... he was going to Asgard to take the tesseract in infinity war regardless of Odin being there or not

I never understood other vids that try to downplay Thanos concern regarding Odin and Aagard..he had to be wary of them bc in the early mcu they would have stepped in if Thanos outright attacked Earth or others of the nine realms. My evidence of this is in IW, Thanos was bold enough to flat out invade and attack another force that would cause him some issuses and had a Infinity stone in Xandar...you notice he didn't try to pull that crap on Asgard did he. It seems clear that Thanos avoided Asgard and waited for other forces to weaken them ( like Loki) bc let's be honest, Thanos taking on Odin,Thor, and say Loki if the three were united wouldn't go well for him, his Outrider army isn't taking down Asgard forces and his Black Order..come on now they got chased off by motrals with tech and a Super Solider in IW so no sane person is taking bets on them defeating Aagard armies.

I think this theory is far too saturated. Thanos used loki because loki was a traitor and he could have gotten knowledge about Asgard from Loki but Odin has proven to disconnect from his kids when they mess up and he does it rather harshly. If he sealed away his daughter forever well until he died what makes you think he would have gave more worry to Loki? If you really watch Odin's death he praised Loki but his focus was on Thor.

Why get your hands dirty when you have others to do it for you? If Thanos went down, in person, in 2012 then Hulk probably would have destroyed him because he didn't study Hulk. Then again, he could have destroyed the Avengers there and then, but it would be more difficult without any usable Infinity Stones, like the Power Stone.

I think Your theory doesnot cover all the facts. If you had watched Avengers Innfinity wars, In Titan Planet Thanos Told Doctor strange that He killed most of the Titanians to establize Planet and He Killerd Gamora Planet too. Just left Only Gamora Alive and He also Destroyed other planets. U can see that for yourself. Now when Thanos Destroyed previously planeta Where were Odin or anyother God...🤣😃

Thanos didn't want Odin getting involved say Odin wouldn't just wipe floor with Thanos but Odin in end would win. Plus Thanos didn't want bunch his army an generals to die he honestly ain't bad guy but way he does it is bad
