@Bern on Cars Also, it is weird that compared to previous EXLs, this one doesn't give you a sunroof, but it DOES give you parking sensors. 🤔🤔🤔

You have always been spot on with your reviews. When you mentioned mileage, I have an MDX that just pushed through 160K miles - 2006 AWD model - & I get 13 MPG almost all the time. I know AWD hurts fuel mileage, but all the time? What do you think?

I would! It's a bit larger inside and a bit more utilitarian, which I like. Highlander feels smaller and softer! But still nice

and from the a side back angle it kinda resembles the dodge durango! Love this new car, it's a whole new look for Honda, but it really just seems that Honda pasted lots of other company's suv's together to create this!

What are you getting for MPG? We are looking at getting a Pilot but this has been a big area of concern. Heard folks are getting less than the 20/21 EPA rating.

@@4593harrison Look at price difference from other comparable models. If your only saving $1000-$1500 a year in gas and the comparable suv is thousands more than is it worth?

i hate that it’s only a 4 way adjustable seat on the passenger side. I don’t know why Honda and Nissan doesn’t give you the same capabilities with the passenger seat. that’s almost a deal breaker for me.

Yeah it’s strange! I would think the higher trims would offer more adjustment, but it’s an annoyance to me too

This is well done and the Pilot is an interesting new design. I suggest we all move on from the term "family hauler" though. It's lazy - in the US anyway, most families are no larger than would fit in a 4 door sedan. Vehicles like the Pilot are for people who might from time to time need to carry an inordinate number of people (not necessarily related people) and/or stuff from one place to another. These "Vehicles" offer some "Utility" compared to cars and appeal to people who want to do "Sporty" things. Hey, wait - I think I have an idea for what we should be calling them.

You'd want to try a Mazda CX-9 (any generation) and see how it compares to the Honda Pilot, especially the third row seats.
