Current roster can compete for ring if healthy. New coach needs to increase minutes of bench in regular season so starters are healthy for playoffs. With a healthy Allen and Garland the Cavs would have had a chance against Boston. To trade a top level center for the POSSIBLE development of the offence of the other big is foolish.

They cant trade Mobley or Allen without getting a legit big man back,thats all the size they have. Id rather trade Garland for a wing

I would prefer the Cavs trade Darius Garland instead of trading Jarrett Allen because Mitchell and Garland in the backcourt is not working out as everyone hope they would. My ideal starting 5 for the Cavs next season would be this…the Cavs start Mitchell at the 1, move Max Strus to the 2, find a better quality wing player at the 3. Keep Evan Mobley at the 4 as he needs to work on his improving his jump shot since he is not a traditional back to basket big man and keep Jarrett Allen at the 5. LETS GO CAVS!!

The Cavs core 4 is very polarizing....many think you need to break up JA and EM. Many think you need to break up DM and DG. Others think you need to break up both! Don't believe Koby's GM speak...maybe the offers for DG aren't that good and he needs to become a reclamation project. Everyone wants JA because of that team friendly contract on top of his play! DG's contract is clearly a problem moving forward..if DM, EM and JA all get extensions.

But we do need a SF unless Wade can start there .. ok using this line up Cavs would overpower teams.. the Starters: mitchell, struss, new sf , wade pf, Mobley or Allen .. Bench , Garland, LeVert, Okoro , Isaiah Mobley or ? , Allen .. Time for Mobley's brother to get some bench minutes lol .. But seriously , this starting line up or finishing line up works, you start Mobley or Allen , not both, same with Garland, he can run the bench bunch and when they come in the game we extend the lead .. if you trade Allen you should also trade Garland or put him on the bench lol
