I'm still waiting to hear why the F8 sucks. You don't mention anything about the drive, the handling, etc. The "Pissta" is a nice unusual color, with a nice interior , but that still has nothing to do with the F8.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about! The F8 does not replace the Pista, it replaces the 488 GTB, and even then it should only be in production for about a year and a half until the new model comes in, it is just the end of the line for this V8 !!

I would prefer the F8 over the Pista even despite the fact that I hate the slits (holes) on the rear windshield which render the car unusable if it's raining. The reason I like the F8 better: it is more practical. I like sports cars but I don't want them to be like race cars on the inside or to be too noisy or to have too low ground clearance. As to putting too much wear and tear on the car on the track, it's better to have something cheaper for the track, like, the Lotus, Porsche Cayman, Corvette, etc., if you can't man up or face up the real deal (= real race cars which are expensive but you can get one at 200-300 grand which requires 10 times higher driving skills than driving civil Lambos, Ferraris or whatever, including LaFerrari, Pista, etc.) So, no, the Pista doesn't cut it in my opinion. It's no race car. It's more of a dummy car for those who can't drive the real deal; it's for civil use and it kinda fails it due to low practicality. So, the F8 wins IMO. But different strokes for different folks or no accounting for taste. If you prefer the Pista, it's what you should get but I would not recommend it unless all you want is tourist/dummy sessions on the track for rich folks with zero race skills, or/and impressing your friends with lots of noise instead of a lot of G forces on the track. I don't need excessive harshness on civil roads. I listen to music in the car, and normally I don't weave through the traffic too much. I got enough speeding tickets already. What's more I don't understand all that frenzy with the noises the engine makes. I want the car to be relatively silent. It's not a motorcycle. And I'm not in the middle of the race. Everybody drives at a snail's pace on public roads - you can fall asleep. Civil cars are also heavy; so you can't corner at very fast speeds because you will crash and total the car. And I got a lot more to say. For example, rear spoilers are decorative gimmicks on civil cars because these spoilers are small and the cars are too heavy. At the same time, I'm not against something like the Radical RXC (actually I love it!!!) but to be honest this hybrid (between the track and civil use - it's a gasoline car) belongs more to the track rather than public roads. I can continue but there's no point.

The f8 is at the beginning of its life stage. The pista was the final version of the 488 which is why it’s crazy. Wait a few years and see how the f8 evolves, then you’ll change your mind.

The Pista is significantly more expensive and the performance gain is negligible. The F8 has better design too.

Just goes to show that you don't have to be good at everything in order to become rich. And the fact that he personally bought the two cars shows that he appreciates both for each of their strengths and characters, but the fact that he made this video stating that the F8 "sucks" and the Pista is "better" shows that he likely is trying to create attention, albeit in an intentionally negative way.

There was not 500 Speciales. There are about as many Pistas as Speciales. There was allegedly 499 Speciales Apertas, but we know there are more. There are about 750 Pista Spiders. And frankly, you can of course drive your Pista everywhere. If you don't understand what makes a regular 488 or F8 special, I don't think you understand what there is to appreciate about the F8 and regular 488.

Best V8 Ferrari based on what to choose is a difficult one. Like do I prefer the rawness of an F430, the creature comforts of the California, Portifino, or Roma, the balance of rawness and comfort of a 458 italia, or the torqueness of 488?
