5 months of testing grounds. 2 iterations of the rework. And the devs with with minimal changes. They really had a hateboner for lawbro.

His entire kit was to punish people for throwing a heavy willy nilly, now he gets punished for existing and trying to play the game. He's comparable to warden, if not worse.

I wish like their other games, that Ubisoft would show character pick rates. I feel like LB wasn't common enough and oppressive enough to receive this rework.

Literally last night i went Lawbringer knowing it was a mistake. I was right. I went against 2 berserkers and an afeera. It was obvious that i couldnt open them up at all now and all Afeera has to do was throw a light as an option select. 😅 it hurts when they ruin something you love. Also nerf kyoshin

Its funny how lawbringer has a dodge forward heavy tech, yet they nerfed it for no reason, if they buffed it, it could be a unique rollcatcher. They did the opposite lmao, also zone mid chain would be glorious.

stopped playing the game after the LB rework, i only played him and centurion nearly every match and the longarm uselessness with the stamina changes was the start of the end even if they didnt rework him after. devs have tendancy to strip the entire identity of heros only to replace them with hyper armor or unblockables which is beyond dumb.

They should have given him a soft feint bash from any starter or chain heavy i think that would be a great mixup and excellent opener

Impale rollcatcher

To be honest, I think most heroes are in need of feat reworks. Lawbringer, for what I know, is the only character that gets high rise (revive mate to 75% of hp) and protected revive (giving armor to hp). They should remove the conquer feat from him and replace it with quick revive. Establishing him as a good pick to revive people since reviving in the game is considered "not optimal."

Give lawbringer a charged heavy like hito and shugo and he would instantly be viable.

I love it when I wake up in the morning, take a shower, get ready to work, once working have to deal with daily common bs, and when I’m finally off.. I’m finally home after a long day of tiring hardship I wanna prep myself for a nice relaxing session of playing REWORKED LAWBRINGER. But no after losing a match for the 14th time in a single night to nothing but an army hitokiri, kensei, Highlander and whatever else bs this game throws at lawbringers who just want to have a good time i continue to play. I am always angry whenever I play lawbringer.. I’m angry when I select him, I’m angry when we win or lose, I’m angry when I’m customizing lawbringer. I’m just angry whenever I launch for honor be I know I’m gonna play lawbringer. Dear Ubisoft.. I understand you tried but if effort is going to be this bad don’t even change your characters. lawbringer is NOTHING like what he was in test server. Every time I come across a character that has more options than me I genuinely want to commit self harm because I know they have to try less than me to win. Please do it right the first time or don’t do anything at all.

Just came back to the game after a loooong break last hero to come out when I stopped was gryphon or maybe pirate I think. Love to see they gutted my main and made him unplayable I will never forgive removing impale on heavy and nerfing the damage of it as well. Guess I'm done for good farewell forever for honor lol

Faraam, a bit of a mundane question here: what are your keybinds? I recently switched over from controller to mouse and keyboard and have been struggling with things that were second nature to me on controller. Switching between targets, guardbreaks, feinting, all of it feels awkward.

I also think it be nice if the examples and scenarios you bring up you can show in the video so people may better understand where you're coming from

They took away the only thing he was good at. Youre absolutely corrext when you say he brings nothing to the table. Hes almost as bad as PK now. Certainly more boring.

So glad you made this video, most people don't understand why this rework was terrible and just complain that his stam damage and stun were "unhealthy," just regurgitating what was said in the release of this terrible change. You've said everything I wanted to just in a much more comprehensible way and I agree 100%

I will always say stamina damage needs to go it it’s very much not a fun play style. I don’t know why they’re keeping it on some and removing it on others. If they’re going to change damage and other things they need to do it for everyone.

The thing I hate most about the new lawbringer is just the massive drop in damage.. even his heavy FINISHER only does 28, and heavy openers only doing 20 is a crime. I also don't like the focus of his chains being on the "stun" tap. All we wanted was the free 3-3 chains, a rollcatcher, and maybe hyperarmor on heavy finishers, while removing impale parry.

Give impale back. That's all. What they did to this move feels like a stone in my shoe that I can't take off. For ppl jus tpicking up the hero, it may look like just a useless move, but for everybody else, I just can't play this hero again. The rest of the rework is trash but I can live with it

Reverting the changes is a bad idea. Maybe giving him some of the old stuff back but no way in hell should they give him stun and stam drain back. I'd happily take hyper armor over that dogshit gimmick. Impale needs a few changes. Either buff the inpale to five dmg, make it guaranteed on heavy parry and make it 8 dmg and only guarantee a light, or make guaranteed on heavy and massively nerf the distance. Also make the opener heavies 22 dmg and speef up the top to match the sides, same dmg as orochi. Put in a dodge forward heavy and he's perfect.

Personally, I think LB should keep his impale on heavy parry Heroes like centie already get about 20 damage from a heavy parry with haymaker (kick riposte into punch and light) However, it would be better if he only got a side heavy from it, for obvious reasons

as an lb main i honestly feel his rework is a good thing for several reasons. 1) he finally flows, meaning he has a nice hitbox with hyper armor and an infinite, as opposed to his old one being really easy to hit out of chains and not really feeling rewarding in ganks. now i do wish he was as good as his first TG althought that was extremely op, a balance between the first and the second TG would put him in such a nice spot. i personally think he needs hyper armor on his finisher heavies, impale on heavy parry and maybe just a few extra dmg on opener heavies. yeah his stam drain was really nice, id much rather not have to crutch the opponent being aggressive to capitalize off of that, because if you fought someone with decent enough reaction timings, it doesnt matter how much stam dmg you do if you cant hit them. ive been a day 1 lb main, rep 70 and peaked at top 0.4% in the world as him so ive seen lb through all of his flaws and honestly i feel like they are going to a good step now because since he is just a tad bit weaker it means there is room for buffs, especially with how the community has been reacting to it.
