Just like the 504 and 505.Mine is at 460,000km with original engine and gearbox. A taxi driver in Greece has crossed 1million km. Fit oil cooler to auto and it will last forever. Change auto fluid every 30,000km.

Great car. Used to own 2.0L engine. Very elegant design, fast enough, enough power, great milage for 2.0L. Surprisingly good at handling and very comfortable.

Nice video brother. I've always & will always be a gr8 fan of the peugeot 406 V6 particlarly the 2005 model before I even went to secondary school. Despite the being 23 years old, I see the Peugeot 406 as a modern Peugeot 504. A unique machine worth owning with an outstanding reliable performance & always ready to serve its owner at any time possible.
