I paid $26,000 cash for a German car that broke with 58,000 miles on it. -Minor oil cooler leak. Paid $2100 for a 13 Chevy 3500Hd DRW with 300,000miles on it and it ran perfectly. Now I drive the 16 Ram 3500HD flatbed as my daily lol. I love German cars, But you can’t outlast American engineering.

The only reason German cars are more unreliable is because of advanced untested tech. They want to put the new tech in as soon as it comes out. My e39 has the features of a late 2000s early 2010s vehicle. But like always, the dash screen has dead pixels and all that stuff not to mention the sometimes "have to get it towed" situations. and it sucks when you have to get it towed 50miles

@@alexs1429 Japanese reliability is a myth. Have you ever driven a Mitsubishi, Suzuki or a Nissan?

Awesome story, I daily drive a $400 Ford truck and I've come to love the thing for all the rust and dents. The truck is dead reliable and it looks like nothing else around, just how I like it!
