Guillermo del Toro is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, producer, and novelist. In his filmmaking career, Del Toro has alternated between Spanish-language dark fantasy pieces, such as the gothic horror film 'El Espinazo del Diablo (2001) and El Laberinto del Fauno (2006), and more mainstream American action movies, such as the vampire superhero action film, Blade II (2002), the supernatural superhero film Hellboy (2004), its sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008), science fiction monster film Pacific Rim (2013), Pan's Labyrinth (2006) and the gothic romance film, Crimson Peak (2015).

I love Sally's character and It is worthy mentioning that Sally is so humble, modest, down-to-earth, relatable and the most beautiful & stunningly attractive person in the world without obscuring her intelligence. I would listen to her every woking moment of my life. Never in my life have I appreciated talent or liked as her. Amaizing person

"He lets you play what you brought into the room with you." Guillermo del Toro understands the monster. It's not gay men & women. It's not black men & women. It's not The KGB. It's not even the monster. It's those who would call themselves "the future," driving around in teal green Cadillacs, treating the rest of us like road kill. Congratulations on your Oscars, Guillermo.

They are all saying very good things about Toro. Not a lot of directors have vision to be able to direct, they just simply say make it so and expect exacting results and they somehow still maintain a career.

my poor opinion is that it's a rip off off of jean pierre jeunet movies in terms of style and mood ( see delicatessen or amélie poulain ), but with a story and characters poorly written , and because of that ..i didn't buy the "relationship" ..it was just clumsy ..but if you liked i ..good for you and your "poor " tastes.
