I was so sad to hear about Maia’s diagnosis with kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma I think?), wishing her a speedy recovery and all the best for their futures

@@jada3804 she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer.

@@janep9290 Thankfully, it wasn't metastatic, it was a deficient renal cell carcinoma (a tumor on a kidney). It was diagnosed at an early stage (so it was localized) and successfully removed and she said that "no further treatment is required at this time"

They have a youtube channel where they upload vlogs of their competitions and one of those videos is about the olympics. If I'm not mistaken, you could see Eric in the stands there

OMG. I didn't realize Maia was diagnosed with RCC. I have a coworker who had the same diagnosis. Luckily it was removed and hasn't returned. Now it's decades later so stay positive everyone! I'll say prayers on the Shib Sibs behalf!

Their performance was so great! I am so glad the kids got to see them. It was about hope and family. Such a feel good performance. I hope Maia gets well soon.

They are so sweet! I remember seeing them in a video, where they went to an ice rink at the mall, and was amazed how they just got on the ice, and skated. I'm so trash at ice skating.

My friend gets a hyperactive high before performances. Since she's already super energetic, I think she could run a mile in 2 minutes on that energy.

I was laughing while I was at my figure skating practice because I found this episode of I Think You’re Dope right before practice and I couldn’t wait to listen to it so I just listened to this during practice and it was amazing.
