Having married out of my race, everything you say is true. People, especially my husband's family, couldn't believe that my husband married me: a former foster child who had gotten a decent education. Many people on my husband's side of the family and his friends wanted to believe that my husband was gay instead of him marrying a woman of color because he loved me. When it came to my own family things were complicated because I grew up in foster care. Suffice it to say, that only my immediate family along with my godmother came to our wedding. The given excuse was that my cousin a lawyer who was marrying a Caribbean girl on "de Island" and two weddings in one summer were too expensive to attend. This wedding was more important than the wedding in Nebraska that cost only $200 to go to round trip including hotel stay at that time. NONE of my aunts and uncles sent gifts which means that they didn't value our union. Meanwhile, many of hubby's family came around after realizing we had been together for seven years, so they flew overseas to be at our wedding. Wedding was great! Several months after my cousin married, he got an annulment. At our family Christmas party, everyone was apologizing to my hubby and me for not attending our wedding. They were embarrassed. Bring it forward 30 years when my husband fell ill with Lou Gehrig's disease. We didn't know he had the disease and divorced. Two years later, the ex transcended! Guess what some family members said to me? Sorry that the ex died and left me with a child. However, now I can stop acting like I am better than everyone else and come be with my people. My ex's family who had mostly died are playing the "it's so far card", but at least remembers us on our birthday and holidays. In my case, race doesn't matter. I got a clear message of everything you said: jealousy for at least finding a decent man while many women of color can't find suitable spouses, implied ownership by others of the narrative that I am supposed to live according to them, and entitlement to privilege that they perceived in that I married out and married better. I won't even get into what happened when I got my PhD!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I will defend Meghan because I truly understand what she's going through for marrying Harry and vice versa. What angers me are the people who want Meghan and her kids to die so Harry can go back to the UK. That's not going to solve ANYTHING! I know I got divorced and my ex died much to the Schadenfreude of various people in both families. They watched with glee when my family fell apart and were quick to say "I told you so" despite many of them being divorced multiple times in the 30 years my ex and I were together. It didn't improve how family members treated my son and me. Few came to our aid during my ex's illness or after his death. They were more concerned with forcing their views on my family and me than understanding that love conquers all or putting aside their jealousy to see that a foster kid could have a normal life with a family, thrive and most importantly be happy! Well-spoken video. I wish more people could view you because your insights are very true. It great to have you as a Squaddie!

Truth. Some ppl's self-introspection is non-existent. Because I do agree. A lot of the hate from both women AND men in media and in regular public haters stem from jealousy. And they won't admit it. How do you dislike someone for no legitimate reason? Why do you? Sadly a lot of the jealousy likely stems from something they admire in that person (in this case H+M) but it burns them to acknowledge it, which exacerbates the hate. Great discussion Lauren!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, you are so on point. You spoke truth to power. Women must stop comparing themselves to others but rather look within and find what they're lacking. When women see others with things they desire, they become hostile, angry and lash out in unhealthy ways just like they're doing to Meghan. It boggles our mind to know coercive control devices aka Bots, algorithm program, plethora of hate channels in full force that targets her to mimic the hatred alluring followers it’s a money making racket scheme. More like a get rich quick one. The RF tax funded family can never ascertain the numbers of actual counts nor cost of their actual spending. It’s all shrouded in secrecy to gaslight the public whenever it’s brought up. Oh no blame the Sussex’s who earning their keep and at the same time donate, food partnered with the awCK of chef José Andreas and support for others in need especially as a humanitarian. I read the inflammatory remarks made by the royal mouthpiece flamethrower Piss Moron wrote “Prince private will hurl his latest torrent of malevolent money-making muck at the RF just in time to ruin his fathers coronation as King”. Charles should strip his petulant, selfish greedy hypocritical brat of all his remaining royal titles/status ASAP - verbatim, nuff said my comments on him his wife and adult son at some later time. I wish we have the answer as to when this farcical coverages continues to hemorrhage that bleeds into society’s consciousness ……….
