I wrote a small paper on this theme for my music in film class. The Winter Soldier theme is one of my favorites of all time. I truly don’t think there are many other themes that encapsulate who the character is quite like this one.

My guy, this was brilliant. This is probably my favorite MCU movie next to Guardians 1 and this actually made me look at the bridge fight and a lot of Bucky's scenes differently. I think you just convinced me what I'm watching tonight.

Becky’s theme is probably my favourite character theme in all of film! So much little details you need to listen to it multiple times just to notice, you’ve pointed out so much I didn’t even hear. This told a story, which you can’t really say for a lot of themes in film or tv which is what makes it more haunting, you know the backstory of the Winter Solider without even seeing his face all thanks to the amazing sounds used to describe his day to day existence. A tortured soul, used as a killer for Hydra, all while he’s fighting to be free of the constant pain he feels. God, Henry Jackson is such an underrated film composer!

Great analysis. I never paied the music in winter soldier much attention. Its a shame that the movie sets up bucky with so much potential and then the mcu turns him into a prop for his next apperence.
