Great content! I like these short ev subjects being covered on your channel. I have this feeling that in a few years, when Nio becomes more established in europe, the European gov will ban them or force them to sell. Strong chinese automotive presence in europe will not be tolerated long term imo

Great segment! From my American perspective, I believe that Tesla was able to capitalize on and accelerate the inevitable EV revolution. However, giving the company credit for starting it is a bridge too far. EVs have been around in America since the late 1800s. Yet, despite the numerous benefits of EVs for consumers and the environment, greed led us and the rest of the world down the path of ICE vehicles. Sadly, much of the US efforts and resources are devoted to lagging technology, propping up legacy brands, and delaying the inevitable instead of fiercely competing in the market as Americans can when collectively seated at the table.

market forces and common sense talked louder, actually, that is why EVs were not widely adopted. EVs are an inferior product.

How are Chinese EV startups really doing? Last I heard no one is making money and companies like Nio is kept alive by the Chinese government. Most of them will probably go bankrupt in the coming years.

that’s just how competition works, the strong will survive the weak will dies, probably only 10 brands will last but they will sure be competitive

@@madev_channel what ??? you don't know anything! In July 2021, VW Group's Porsche and Rimac announced that they have agreed to create a joint venture that will incorporate Volkswagen's high-performance Bugatti brand as well as Rimac Automobili.
