It's funny how Jonathan brought up divorced parents and the trauma it inflicts on kids. My husband ALWAYS hugs his parents and tells them he loves them although they are divorced. My parents are divorced too and I can't tell them I love them and I'm very dry towards them because of the sense of abandonment I felt when they separated. Very interesting.

I’ve been with my husband 10yrs (married for 4) and his love language was just like Jonathan’s and mine was like Blanca’s but now it the opposite for us as well. I think it changed because we learned that kind of love language from our partners so we want to reciprocate it ❤
